I am a repeat customer of Optimum Seismic. Its crew did the retrofitting of my apartment building few years ago. It was efficiently done and I was very satisfied of the job. That's why I awarded the contract to Optimum Seismic again to perform engineering services for my 3 buildings in accordance with the Balcony Law.
Optimum Seismic retrofitted two softstory apartment buildings for me in Redondo Beach and is starting two more in Torrance. They are the most professional contractor that I have worked with in 50 years of owning apartment buildings. They are extremely well organized, very punctual maintaining tight schedules, working well with tenants. The keep a very clean work area and open the parking areas for the tenants each evening and on weekends. They do an excellent job a are cost competing. I can't recommend them high enough. I took photos through each phase of the Job and they are very impressive.
After receiving notification from the City of Long Beach that we potentially had a soft story building we met with and interviewed several companies. Jared of Optimum Seismic was thorough in his approach, providing detailed explanations of the process. We selected Optimum Seismic for our earthquake retrofit. They took care of the initial engineering design and the plan checks with the City of Long Beach, as well as the full retrofit construction.
