“Late post. Last September my husband & I visited NYC. I noticed some of my pictures taken that I was wearing my prescription Dior clear glasses, it was slanted. I said I will bring it to Sea Cliff Optometry office to fix it. While waiting for our boarding at the JFK airport going home, I noticed the crack on the right temple of my frame glass. I did not know how it happened. I immediately called Darryl in the office of Sea Cliff Optometry. She asked me to take the picture for which I did & texted it to her. The next day, I saw Darryl wearing my old glasses with prescription. Since I still have the warranty, she sent off my glasses to the lab for replacement. After two weeks, I got my brand new Dior prescription glasses. I really like the service provided by this office especially Darryl who rendered her service without hesitation. Another instance where I lost my prescription Chanel sunglasses in Las Vegas this December. I went to Darryl and ordered a different new Chanel sunglasses. I used up my vision insurance benefit this year. But Darryl made it worked. Now I have my new prescription Chanel sunglasses to wear. I really recommend this office. It is clean, nice staff and they carry different design frame glasses to choose from Chanel, Dior, etc.“

I especially like the frames that make me feel like I'm wearing pieces of art, well worth the price. “My glasses lens fell out of the frame while I was chasing my toddler at the playground, which, if you think about it, is probably the most harrowing place to not be able to see! I walked into Fong and Wong and they were super helpful. The front desk person was very friendly and the doctor managed to remove a broken screw that was stuck in the frame so that the lens could be put back in. They also have a nice selection of frames. Would highly recommend!“

I know that seems like something that should be usual and customary, but I can tell you from personal experience with other practices, it's not. Furthermore, the frame fitting was also very thorough. Dr. Dumlao's professionalism and expertise is top notch and he's an extremely personable guy as well. Super nice, funny and puts one at ease.“

“Dr. Gheri Cheng and her staff are an awesome group. Dr. Cheng is a real eye professional who is passionate about eye care. My visit made me feel right at home with her soft approach to my eye exam. I received free trial contacts to try and they have a nice selection of stylish frames for glasses. I definitely recommend her practice if you're looking for an optometrist or looking for a replacement. I have been with her for over a decade.“

“This optometrist is very thorough with his exam and uses high tech equipment. He usually gives a discount on the frames and lenses and they have brands like ray ban and longchamp, as well as less expensive brands. I recommend him however since his exam is very in depth and he checks for many things it does take a while.“

“Finally, an optometrist who solved the mystery of two pairs of eyeglasses that were unwearable. I usually wear contacts so I blew off these eyeglasses that did not correct my vision correctly. Years later, dry eye developed so out came eyeglasses. He figured out how my glasses were incorrectly made, even though the prescription was somewhat appropriate. Dr Chong explains eye conditions well and he's enthusiastic about really helping his patients SEE WELL. Highly recommend.“

“I recently visited Dr. Lee because one day, out of the blue, I developed a troubling issue with one of my eyes. I was quite concerned that it was something very serious. I called my doctor's clinic only to find that the wait to see an ophthalmologist in my medical network (UCSF) take weeks if not months. My only option, I was told, was to go to a walk-in clinic or the emergency room, in either case I would be waiting hours for an on-call ophthalmologist to show up. Then it occurred to me to see my optometrist - Dr. Carrie Lee. She saw me that very same day (a Friday), and I can only imagine she had to really juggle her schedule to squeeze me in. In the event, she was able to identify the problem. It was bad, but not any of the terrible options suggested by Dr. Google. Later I emailed her (on a holiday) with a question about the application of a treatment for an unrelated issue. To my surprise she responded with the answer in about 5 minutes (!). Dr. Lee is a treasure who really cares about her patients.“

“I've seen Dr Sinow since 2008 and I have been happy with the service he is old school and did not find him creepy or shady his wife at the front may seem a little rude at first considering the clientel and location of his practice it's understandable I've seen rude people come in and because they don't get what they wanted im an instant call them rude if you can except different personality s from other countries see him but don't if you expect everyone to respond the way you expect.“
