“Exceptional Service at One Hour Cleaners – San Francisco, CA ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was my second visit to One Hour Cleaners, and once again, I’m beyond impressed!

A few weeks ago, I came in for a shirt alteration — they handled it on the spot for just $15. Quick, efficient, and perfectly done! Today, I returned with my beloved Giants shirt, which had a very noticeable stain. I spoke with one of the staff members, and he confidently told me to bring it in.

To my surprise, he worked his magic — and now it looks like a brand-new Giants shirt! On top of that, I had my blazer professionally washed, dried, and ironed — and the results are just flawless.

The entire team at One Hour Cleaners is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. In a city as expensive as San Francisco, finding great service at a reasonable price is rare — and they truly delivered.

“I had my wedding dress hanging behind my room door, and unfortunately, one of my dogs peed on it. I didn't notice the stain until a few days later and was worried it wouldn't come out. There were also a few red wine drops on the dress.

Amazingly, not only was the pee stain removed, but the red wine and dirt on the hem were completely gone. I was blown away; it looked brand new.

“Have been going to them for years. Everything from coats to leather jackets, although they clearly explain the third party leather cleaner they works with. Friendly service, consistent solid prices and excellent work. They do tailoring as well, small to medium sized jobs, hemming to jacket liner replacement. I live in SOMA and make the trip to the Filmore to visit Progress, worth it every time. A fantastic small family business.“

“A little back story: When we were in Tokyo last year, my daughter purchased a haori in a second hand shop. She loves it and wears it daily, even when she's doing her art.

Unfortunately this led to her getting some pen on it. Like a buffoon, I tried to get the pen out myself using information I got online (just don't do that with delicate things such as haori, learn from my mistake) and epically failed, leaving an ENORMOUS water spot, and the pen didn't budge.

We brought the haori in to Kyoto Dry Cleaning Japantown, and as I sheepishly explained my errors, I wasn't made to feel a fool or anything. She was so kind and explained what went wrong, and that there's a possibility that nothing would come out (which I figured). We left it there on a Wednesday, and picked it up today (Saturday).

Let me tell you, this woman is a wonderful absolute wizard! Pen? Gone! Water spot? Eradicated! There is a small faded spot where the pen was, but I, and my daughter after having brought it back and shown it to her, am over the moon and so happy. I'll take a tiny fade spot any day over my hot mess experiment.

So, in conclusion, don't look up ways to probably ruin your delicate fabrics online, and in the event you do, you know where to go!“
