Took in my double layered dress to be hemmed and taken in at the waist. The tailor was friendly and helped me decide on the length. I was a bit worried reading the most recent reviews, but I’m so happy with the result! The top layer of the dress is lace. Not only was the stitching seamless, but she also made sure that the lace pattern was continuous from top to bottom. It was done very quickly - I took it in on Tuesday and picked it up on Friday. Excited to wear it to a wedding this weekend!

I have a family baptism dress that is nearly 100 years old. I wanted to have it cleaned to baptize my own daughter, but it was horribly stained. I went to 4 different cleaners who told me it couldn't be saved. Then I looked online and found Sonia's, specifically Stephanie. She looked at my garment thoughtfully and took her time explaining what she could try and also the potential damage that could be done. She made sure I was very well informed before agreeing to try. Well, she worked her magic! The dress is beautifully restored and my daughter got to wear a piece of family history and pride thanks to Stephanie. Highly recommend Sonia's, they’re the best!

I’ve been going to see Stephanie for years now. I’ve been for alterations, cleaning, and everything else a good dry cleaner should provide. The service is always incredibly high quality and I trust this shop with all my garments. I’ll be going here as long as I live in SF.
