“When I first started looking for a new home six months ago, I dealt with five or so different realtors from a variety of different companies, all of whom I found pushy (most were super arrogant too). It's in a relatively safe location that is within walking distance to Japantown and Trader Joe's/Target; I'm lucky to have called it my home during pharmacy school and my residency training. I appreciate that Tom's communication is always top-notch: He is prompt in responding to any inquiries or concerns the tenants may have. For example, we had an issue with packages being stolen from the front entrance area, so Tom and his team were prompt in ensuring the common door locks were changed. He also improved security in the apartment complex by installing multiple security cameras. Tom and the team always respected the tenants' privacy and let everyone know beforehand if they had to enter our units (to install updated fire alarms, for example). Tom also made the leasing process a stress-free experience. He was transparent about the lease terms and costs, and there were no hidden surprises. The unit was move-in ready and well maintained, as I never had any additional maintenance issues or repair needs (the only thing I had to replace was the lightbulbs). I couldn't be happier with Tom as my landlord: He is professional, responsive, and dedicated to his tenants. They have an online portal to pay rent. They are pet friendly. They also let me pay my deposit initially by breaking it into 2 payments so it was more affordable and they seem like they genuinely care about their tenants. And work to improve the place by being prompt with any maintenance issue. And doing repairs and projects as needed. I found a great home in sf with their services !“
