“When I see a hair salon like this one charging $50+ for men's haircut when there are plenty of <$20 cuts elsewhere it is sometimes a leap of faith to chose the more expensive option. After my visit, I believe Studio 79 is truly worth it and I look forward to coming again!Several things that stood out:1) They answer the phone promptly and have plenty of same day availability times.2) Jerry, my stylist, asked many questions what I wanted. Even if I didn't know, he helped explore several options.3) Start off with a complimentary shampoo wash.4) Yoo..Jerry has some awesome Asian dreadlocks. He's a cool guy.5) The level of meticulousness really stood out. I did not expect a haircut to take more than 1 hour which really showed his dedication. In fact, Jerry stayed nearly TWO HOURS past closing time to finish my haircut (4PM to 6:40PM ish). I have never seen any salon go above and beyond like this.6) So far I have received tons of compliments from my friends at parties. Since I got my haircut while visiting out of town, they're disappointed to hear they'll have to travel hundreds of miles away to LA county to get it. Haha too bad for them! thank you Jerry.“

“I've been coming here for years, and I've never had a problem. Appointments are easy to set up. Fanny is a great hairstylist and she always does her best. Vincent, the guy who washes your hair, is a great guy and fun to talk to. His head massages are something to die. Overall, the service and attention to detail here are next to none. Highly recommend“

“My friend couldn't stop raving about this place and told me to get a hair cut here because she highly recommended her hair stylist Lisa. It's appointments only. I had to call in advanced that I'd be a little late and luckily they still took me in. You do have to ring a doorbell and they'll unlock the door for you. It's a spacious salon and they provide you a place to put your belongings. They started with a wash and conditioner, which was nice and relaxing then Lisa proceeded to cut my hair wet. She did recommend cutting more since it's been 3-4 years since my last cut and my ends have really dried out. I am not so pressed on length so I gave her the wheel to cut the dead ends which resulted in at least 2-3 inches shorter. I'm obsessed to say the least. The shorter cut really made my hair look and feel shinier and healthier. It is pricier than other salons but it's worth it if you're looking for quality service.“

“I drove in from out of town to visit my boyfriend and decided to get my eyebrows done. I came in to Posh not wanting more than an eye brow wax…left a few hours later with a mani then pedi and finally a hair color touch up. Each experience was EXCELLENT. This place gave me the spa day with girlfriends experience… all I needed was a glass of wine. ☺️ We all laughed together… I relaxed…did some work…and the massage chairs are really good at getting into those back tight muscles.
