“I’ve tried a handful of head spas in OC and even Asia, and URDAY stood out to me because it felt a little more customized and thoughtful. What caught my attention first was that they use AI scalp analysis technology by Becon before the treatment, so it feels less like a one-size-fits-all experience and more like they’re actually looking at what your scalp needs.

The whole experience was relaxing, but not in a generic way. It felt more targeted, more intentional, and honestly a little more worth it because of that. For example they even use tablets imported from Korea so the water quality is better and even down to the conditioner is treatment, not regular conditioner. You still get the calming reset and scalp massage part, but there’s also something a little more high-tech and personalized about it.

If you’re in Whittier, and honestly La Habra too since it’s basically borderline, this is a really good one to know about. It felt like a nice escape without having to drive far, and I left feeling like I had actually done something good for myself instead of just checking a box.

“I found Liza through google with a serious hair issue. I had gone 6 months since my ktip extension installation and had severely tangled hair at the roots with stubborn hard-to-remove ktips! Liza was extremely kind and understanding and did not pass judgement over the phone and told me exactly what to expect during our appoint. She accommodated me next day and quickly got to work. Her utmost priority was to preserve the integrity of my hair and not over-stress it. She recommended that we split the service into two sessions to allow my scalp to rest and recover from the detangling.

She accomated for my second service in the same week! Once she got back to everything out and conditioned, she gave me advice on how to restore my hair and what I should be focusing on for better hair health. She was reassuring throughout the service!

“I wrote a previous review because I wasn't happy with service provided back in May. Jessica (the owner) thoughtfully reached out to me to see if there was something she could do to help. She asked if I would be willing to come in and let her do a color correct on my hair. I was very happy with her customer service skills and her willingness to try and make things right. I scheduled an appointment for the following week. I went in yesterday for my color and a haircut, and was extremely happy with the results. We spent the first 15 minutes talking through what I wanted and she was very detailed and explaining what she would do to make this happen. I loved that she was really thorough and detailed. The result was exactly what I was looking for. And, not only was it the right color, she did everything so quickly. I was in and out in under two hours for color, condition treatment, haircut and blow-dry. Not only is Jessica a professional, but she is the sweetest person. I really enjoyed talking to her. I will definitely be going back to J Anthony Salon, and hoping to make Jessica my permanent go to stylist.“

“Yesterday, 4/16/2024, had an appt w/Gerry at Daisy's Beauty Salon at 6:30 pm, which I scheduled 1 week ago. It was my 1st time at his beauty salon. I was a bit scared, and nearly cancelled cuz last few times at other salons left me thinking, "I will NEVER EVER go to a beauty salon again!!!" Thing is, I have curly hair and its difficult finding someone that knows how to cut currly hair. Anyway, I did make it to my appt and went in to see Gerry for just a trim. Gerry's assistant, Cesar, greeted me and washed my hair. He had a good vibe and he quickly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He seated me so Gerry could do his magic, and boy did he! Gerry greeted me and offered me something to drink. He is not only highly professional, he did a super great job! He trimmed and shaped my hair nicely. 1st person a saw today complimented me on my hair (that hasn't happened in such a looonnng time). Will definitely be going back to Gerry again.“
