“So I had called up this company on Monday Oct 23 and had asked for an estimate. I needed my bathroom demo'd and fixed because another contractor messed it up. The young lady on the phone, I believe her name was Hailey, had answered and asked that I send over the photos of the current situation with the bathroom. To which I did immediately. I was told by her that she would speak with her superior and show him the photos and that she would get back to me at the end of the day if not the next day at the latest. It is now Friday Oct 27....I guess their definition of getting back to me the next day would probably be next year. Would not recommend this business. Zero communication skills and no response period. If you do decide to call me now due to this review, don't bother. I wish to not conduct business with such poor customer service skills and lack of professionalism.Update: Ryan reached out to me in order to fix the communication problem. It was told my voicemail box was full (I still think that’s a bit weird). But they were courteous in their communication and had sent Treena out to come give me an estimate and more info on what their company is about. Treena had an upbeat positive attitude which was refreshing. Unfortunately their remodeling cost, according to her off the top of her head, to fix my small bathroom would be around $43k. Really ridiculous number for a small bathroom. I can understand it if it was a master bath or kitchen. I politely declined as that was definitely out of my price range. The company does have a really nice offer regarding a designer for bath/kitchen. Their cost is $1500 to get a design up for you and show you the 3D model. So I will use their services for the 3D rendering of my other two baths.“

“I will recommend anyone to Dowdy Construction. On New Year's Eve, a big tree fell and landed on top of my detached garage as a result from the large California storms. It destroyed my garage and a lot of it's contents. A coworker recommended me to Nic Dowdy and I am really glad that he did. Nic and his team were very professional and responsive. They have also made sure to stay well within budget to fix my garage. In fact, it looks 10x better than it was originally before the tree fell.“

Previous effort by others had failed to remedy the issue until DMC/Don Mount took on the job and not only remedied the issue but worked with me to reinstall a more updated shower and bathroom floor. Don listened to my preferences and was able to work around my schedule and finished the project right on time. DMC exceeded my expectations“

“Fred Hill Mechanical has been our choice for plumbing and HVAC needs over the 35 years we've owned this 75 year old house. Over the years we've had them install a new HVAC system, a new water heater, and they've done the plumbing for a major bathroom remodel.Today, we called them out on a 106 degree day because our air stopped working. It was the thermostat, which had been installed by them a year ago. They replaced the thermostat and did not charge us a cent for the service call or the replacement thermostat. Their work is impeccable, they back their services and equipment, and are courteous and professional.“

CBS inspected my roof and replaced it economically before installing a system designed to offset all present and future power bills. The total cost for both the roof and the solar system was less than my average power bill and any future rate increases have no effect on me. Happy Customer!“

“George and crew finished my studio yesterday — a gorgeous 12x10 studio with a 6x12 covered porch - in 6 days. Framed, covered, roof, sides, windows, door, insulation, paint inside and out, flooring, and electric. I have never had anyone working at my house that was more thoughtful, efficient, skilled and just good people. The studio — is gorgeous. They come with a plan and they execute the plan like pros — I was amazed at how much they got done each day. “I have known and worked with Mario and his staff for a few years and find their honesty, integrity, professionalism and craftsmanship to be of the highest quality. In 2019, I hired 4 Diamond Construction (4DC) as the general contractor for a shopping center remodel project in Concord - a project that I managed for my firm which owned the center. The project was a bit tricky as it had to be performed while keeping the tenants open and happy but in the end, the finished product was spectacular with everyone involved being very happy with the results including the tenants, the design team and my senior management. 4DC's attention to detail and their pro-active management style made my job much easier and inspired confidence to hire them again which I did in 2020 to manage an even larger shopping center remodel project in Manteca. The Manteca project was complex in that it included not only a facade remodel but also a structural retrofit to address systemic issues with the original design. Construction was planned and performed while keeping the tenants open and happy, some of which are large national chains which can be very strict with regard to obstructions to customer access. This particular project also required extensive coordination with the design team to address existing conditions and design issues that arose during construction. Again, the finished product exceeded our expectations and all parties involved were happy and proud of the results. I would not hesitate to hire 4DC again for any project, large or small, and would trust Mario and his team to manage any type of construction for me in the future. You would be well served to hire 4DC for your construction needs.“
