3618 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach“I can’t say enough good things about this studio! The entire staff is amazing—super knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. Classes are filled with people from all stages of life. I also love how there isn’t a mirror in the studio, I’m much more connected to how my body feels throughout class as opposed to getting distracted trying to perfect my alignment. 12/10!“

1824 W 182nd St, Torrance“My 9 year-old son has this to say about Sensei Ford and Kaizen Dojo: "I love it! Sensei is great! He's fun and nice, but he's also still a badass! I like his jokes! He's a good Sensei and I like going there very much!" I couldn't agree more! Very thrilled we found Sensei Ford and his impressive dojo. He's a natural teacher, leader, and clearly enjoys sharing the art, sport, and spirit of karate with all the kids. He keeps both the kids and parents engaged with the occasional joke or well-placed movie quote. And yes, he *is* a badass! I hope my son stays with karate at Kaizen Dojo!“

1112 Ocean Dr # 103A, Manhattan Beach“Have been going to this yoga studio for the past four years, and it is wonderful. The owners and teachers are all devoted to creating a perfect yoga atmosphere for the students. And the variety of classes from yin to chair to slow flow to vinyasa make it a studio that works for all bodies’s needs.“

3308 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach“Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.“

312 S Catalina Ave, Redondo Beach“We just had my daughter's 8th birthday party at Shine. The girls had so much fun and loved it!!!! The hair and makeup is definitely worth paying extra to do. The hair extensions were a huge hit!!The facility is very clean and perfect for a party. There was a kitchen area that made setup easy.“
“Kari is an amazing teacher. What I like best - she asks about injuries or areas on your body that might be hurting. She doesn't push you to do things that your body is not ready for. The space is amazing and has that serene peaceful feel as soon as you walk through the door. Kari is down-to-earth and "real people." A great place if you want to recharge or are just beginning your journey.“
“Either you want to get healing or just to get great energy, this is a place like home for your soul.“

14708 Hawthorne Blvd, Lawndale“I was hesitant to take work out a class after experiencing a bad ankle injury. However this class absolutely exceeded my expectations. The pool is heated and the warm water made the experience easy for me who doesn't love to work out. Highly recommend anyone to try a class with Criselda. She was welcoming, kind and able to make adjustments for my circumstance while giving us a fun high intensity low impact workout. Overall great class great experience, far better than any spin class Ive ever taken. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back again.“

3504 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach“A lovely little gem of a studio. The only disappointments are the lack of parking and no shower. I was fortunate to take class on a weekday at 9 AM so there was plenty of street meter parking. Even so, one has to be careful of the no parking signs for street cleaning and all the various rules. When I mentioned the of the parking to the front desk, she said yes the weekdays were easier. So I would definitely give yourself a healthy amount of time to find a parking spot, at least 15 minutes. I just happen to get lucky. Space is very tranquil. It's lovely and full of light and has really beautiful hardwood floors. There is one tiny bathroom with a sink with only cold water. No place to shower nor change. Bring your own mat or you can pay to rent one. All the props are generously loaned for free, including bolsters, blankets blocks and straps. The class was not too challenging. I didn't break a sweat. But perhaps there are other classes that are more intense. But it was a restful and centering class. TL/dr: perfect spot for locals to enjoy yoga.“

“I started practicing yoga over twenty years ago. I started with Hatha/Vinyasa classes which were both great ways to learn the basic asanas. When I moved to the West Coast ten years ago, I was in search of a new yoga studio. I had never taken Iyengar classes before, but I was open to trying it. To say this practice has changed my life is an understatement.Through joining LYFE, I was introduced to the most extraordinary yoga teacher, Michael Ruccolo. His approach to the practice is transformative. His knowledge of the body as well as his focused attention to each student is unprecedented. This studio also provides a sense of community, allowing students to connect in and outside of the yoga room. I am grateful to have found such a supportive space along with Michael, a one-of-a-kind teacher.“

210 Whalers Walk, San Pedro“I'm new to this gym. I wanted to try something new so I started with Kickboxing. It was hard but I really enjoyed it and I felt welcome and totally appreciated the patience and attention from Kim who led the class. Today I tried 2 different classes led by Ian. First, Strap Strength which I assume is a TRX variant. I really liked this one! And then I stayed for the next class, Fit for Life. That was a totally different class that went through stretch, balance and resistance band strength exercises. For a first timer, in every class, I felt welcome and was impressed that even though these were group classes, instruction was tuned to each of us as if it was a personal training session. The gym is very clean, neat and well organized. And the location is amazing. A gym set in a corner of a beautiful marina! I loved it. The schedule is set up for regulars as well as drop ins. For me that is a huge plus. Harbor Fitness gets "thumbs up" from me.“
“An experience that’s flawless. Makes you feel lighter and instructors bring incredible passion to their classes like an art.“

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a different more beneficial way to exercising!“
6AM - 8PM
59 Peninsula Center, Rolling Hills Estates“I have attended the Redondo Beach Club Pilates Studio for over a year. I had never done pilates before, but I thought it was time to get back into an exercise routine. The app and how you book classes keep you honest with yourself. There is no time for laziness within 12 hours of a booked class; you're going or paying a fine. So, who loses here? It's only you because somewhere or at some time when you signed up, you committed yourself to do this...for whatever reason, and if you don't follow through with that commitment, then you only have yourself to blame. If you are committed and don't listen to the gossip and silly reviews about petty things or misinterpretations of a contract, you will see a change in yourself for the better. It's a workout, not a social club. There will be trainers you adore and others who are not your cup of tea. You book the classes, and you choose that instructor. If I don't like an instructor, I don't take their class. Simple! A true commitment is at least 8 classes, if not the unlimited package. But look at the class availability before you sign up, and be sure it fits into your personal schedule. This studio works for my lifestyle. Try it! Pilates For Life is my motto. And by the way, bring your friends (everyone is welcome). There are free intro classes, but you must bring or buy grippy socks. See You There!“
5AM - 11PM

Mondays are the busiest. You got to get that work out.
Thursdays are less busy.
The only drawback is the parking. It’s free parking all around as well.
People are kind here the staff is also friendly. Plenty of restrooms.
There is no towel service.
