LA Fitness is a gym that offers various amenities at a great value, including state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, Kids Klub, and personal training. The gym is described as super clean and well-maintained, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. One visitor noted the ease of obtaining a day pass and the professionalism of the staff. However, there is a concern about the cleanliness of the basketball court, which is noted to have a horrible smell and could use more effective cleaning. Additionally, some key machines remain broken for long periods, and long lines can form during busy hours from 4-9pm. The staff should remind users to let others work in on machines when resting, as some individuals tend to stay glued to their machines. The sauna and locker room area also faces drainage issues, leading to wet and unsanitary benches. Overall, LA Fitness is recommended for those looking to lift weights or use cardio machines, but the condition of the basketball court and equipment availability may be drawbacks for some.
I was in town for an internship with the Chargers and stopped in during my break. Ray assisted me and was extremely kind, friendly, and professional. He made everything easy and provided great customer service. Definitely a 5-star experience!
I absolutely love this place. It is clean there and there are people cleaning once 1 or 3 hours and people can also wipe the machines after they used them. They offer a video to help you adapt to your exercise that makes you want to keep going. If you are bored during this and you don’t have anything to watch, they offer tv’s on some warm up machines but you do need headphones. I really recommend this place because it is amazing.
This club showed exceptional customer service. I’m on a 10 hour layover about to go on vacation and I was unaware that my membership was exclusive to only my home state and I was told at the desk that my membership would not work at this club. However the GM quickly took care of me and was extremely empathetic of my situation and let me and my friend work out free of charge. Would definitely recommend this club they definitely value their customers!
