The facilities and the family-style run operation makes the studio like a second home to me. I have three adult children who followed me to this excellent studio. L A's best yoga studio by far.“

4601 Via Marina, Marina Del Rey“Natalia is truly a master at her craft. I have worked with many trainers and none addressed the actual problems underlying my posture except for Natalia. Honestly, I had episodes of back pain before pregnancy and how she trained me and cued me helped tremendously- minimal back pain and stayed strong throughout. I trained with her all the way up until 2 days before delivery. She knows how to work with a woman- knows when to push and back off. Post partum she developed an amazing plan to get me back on track. Currently 4 months post partum with no pelvic floor issues which I attribute to her. Hands down worth every single penny. Glad I found her!“

3200 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach“I took D’Andre’s heated C2 flow at CorePower Manhattan Beach, and it was one of those classes that stays with you…not just physically, but internally.
This is an intermediate class in both heat and movement. The music set the tone right away, starting with “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield and building from there (BIG smile). From the beginning, D’Andre framed the practice around calm as the foundation — not calm as stillness, but calm carried through dynamic movement.
What stands out the most is the pacing. The sequence kept changing just enough that you couldn’t go on autopilot. I noticed my own tendency to want to memorize and “take over,” and that simply just wasn’t possible here. It became a presence game: Stay with the breath, stay with what’s actually happening.
Throughout the class, D’Andre kept pointing us toward the balance between effort and ease. In the longer holds and closing poses, he emphasized steady breath as we moved deeper — finding the edge and softening into it at the same time. His guidance was definitely speaking to something deeper than just physical form, and it was a reminder that the breath naturally points us toward our higher qualities, on and off the mat.
Simply put: This is an equanimity practice — and the breath is the bridge to that balance.
Practical notes: Plenty of mall parking, free blocks and straps, lockers with built-in locks, water station; plus showers and amenities like deodorant, mouthwash, Q-tips, and hair dryers.
Fun note: It happened to be my 555th class at CorePower (such a fun milestone)!“

1824 W 182nd St, Torrance“Karate at Kaizen Dojo is lifestyle driven; it isn't just about learning karate moves. Sensei Ford prioritizes mindfulness, building students up from within, mind and body health, self-confidence, happiness, awareness, and resilience.
Both of my children have taken karate lessons at different places. Kaizen stands out, to me, as more traditional. The art of karate is present here; the reveredness of the kata. It reminds me of Daniel San and Mr. Miyagi practicing choreographed karate movements: on the stump on the beach, or in Okinawa, with the scored music behind it. I love watching the kids practice their katas.
Sensei Ford is kind and brings play to each class to keep the kids engaged. They work hard, and, yet, it doesn't occur as such. It's impressive how much my daughter knows, and how much she loves to practice and demonstrate her moves at home.
I'm truly grateful to have Kaizen Dojo and Sensei Ford in our lives. Both have made a lasting and positive impact on myself and my family.“

They do not have showers but they do have private saunas that you can book. They also have Eucalyptus towels which is a super flex for myself. The lady at the front was sipping Hibiscus tea fresh loose herbs so you know it's real. Thank you Red Diamond for providing this wellness center for the community.“

I am talking about my overall mood, my sleeping habits, and the accountability I uphold myself too! The endurance I have built still shocks me beyond believe and I am so blessed to be able to move my body ?
My husband finally joined and he can already see the little changes in his mobility and flexibility. We are in it for the long run and want to be able to enjoy our lives with our children without being held back by any means.
The infrared saunas are doing it for us!

The pool is heated and the warm water made the experience easy for me who doesn't love to work out. Highly recommend anyone to try a class with Criselda. She was welcoming, kind and able to make adjustments for my circumstance while giving us a fun high intensity low impact workout. Overall great class great experience, far better than any spin class Ive ever taken. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back again.“

3308 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach“Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.“

59 Peninsula Center, Rolling Hills Estates“I really love the classes and the coaches—they are amazing, and the workouts are truly excellent. However, booking a class has been very difficult. Even with both the PV and Redondo Beach memberships, I often can’t find suitable class times that fit my schedule, especially in the evenings.
I hope the studio can add more classes and possibly more locations in PV, particularly nighttime classes, since many people are interested in working out after work. The program is great, and I really enjoy it—I just wish availability were better.
Thank you.“
