“Kidisti Mariam O.D. is great. My husband and I went in to see her last week because he was having trouble with some glasses he had received from Kaiser. We could not get in to Kaiser because they are overwhelmed now since the pandemic restrictions have been partially restricted. She proceeded to examine my husband's eyes and then checked his glasses. She said the prescription was correct and felt that his vision problem was related to something else that needed to be checked by an ophthalmologist, possibly glaucoma. She suggested he get an appointment as soon as possible. She was really sweet and said that because she couldn't really help us, that she wasn't going to charge for the appointment. We were really surprised and appreciated her good advice. Based on her advice, I was finally able to get an appointment for my husband with a Kaiser ophthalmologist.“

“In a word, "FANTASTIC!" Upon entering this office for the first time, the courteous and friendly staff greeted me as if I had been a patient for many years. When I provided the eyeglasses that I was wearing to the Office Manager ("Jennifer")--not only did she clean them--but she also repaired the broken earpiece that I had been told by my previous optometrist was "irreparable." Then a comprehensive eye examination was performed by several members of the office staff--including a digital scan of my eyes that allows a chronological database of eye health to be maintained over time. The final part of the exam was performed by Dr. Ruzicka himself--whose vast knowledge and experience in eye healthcare became apparent throughout the exam. Despite my numerous questions throughout the eye exam, Dr. Ruzicka patiently and candidly answered all the questions that I posed to him. After the exam, I met with another staff member who fitted me for eyeglasses--and the entire visit concluded with how it started--with "Jennifer" completing the eyeglass adjustment and completing the financial aspects of the office visit. In summary--Dr. Ruzicka's practice is a model for how all medical practices should operate--with professionalism and the utmost attention and care being provided to all clients who walk through the door to Dr. Ruzicka's office. (Aside: When I returned for another visit to pick-up my new eyeglasses--which were perfect(!)--"Jennifer" graciously fixed yet another broken pair I had at home!) Kudos and a heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. Ruzicka, Jennifer, and all other staff members who provided such an outstanding level of care and service to me during my visits to their office. “This is my second or third year going to vision center for my contacts and glasses and I only have a great things to say about Dr. Priya Kaura whose office is next door to the vision center at Walmart. The office is warm and accommodating and there's always a very helpful person waiting to help us! The manager at the Walmart vision center - his name is Michael - did everything he could to make sure that I was eligible for my benefits this past December, 2023 into January 2024. He worked diligently to make sure that VSP had me in the system which they did not, and now that I'm with I 'm with eye med vision services, everything is flowing great. Michael also helped me & my husband pick out a really nice pair of glasses as well. Everybody there at the Walmart vision center has offered great customer service to me and my family. I'm giving them five stars just because of the customer service that I get there, although (Michael tends to forget my name at times). He's really a nice guy and he gets the job done in hooking the family up with a great pair of glasses or contacts. I highly recommend going to the Walmart vision center on lone tree in Antioch. You won't be sorry!“
