“For the past 4 months, I used prescription steroid ointments on and off for my severe eczema. The inflammation would flare up and calm down temporarily. I slept with a cold pack to numb the itchiness and pain, even though I would still wake up in the middle of the night and scratch until it hurt. In September 2024, I received my first acupuncture treatment from Mr. Mori. I immediately felt less inflammation and discomfort. After my third treatment, I had no itching, pain and inflammation. I am currently not using any type of steroid medications. Mr. Mori is a very knowledgable, patient and caring acupuncturist, who with the help of my dermatologist, healed my eczema. I believe a combination of Eastern and Western medicine accelerated the healing of my inflammation.“

“Dr Kim was very patient, compassionate, and understanding. She was thorough in her questions and very willing to address any concerns that I had, even asking if I had a fear of needles. She explained the procedure and reassured me that I shouldn't feel a lot of pain, however, if I did, to notify her immediately. The most important reason I gave 5 Stars is because her treatment worked. My shoulder pain is completely gone, my back pain is mostly gone, and she explained I needed 1 more session to complete the treatment. Dr Kim even identified an issue that I didn't mention, which was pain in my hip area. She took away the pain in that area too.“

“I’ve been seeing Sarah for many years, and she's always been amazing. Recently, I've been going for fertility support, and she's been super helpful. “This doctor has literally saved my life. I got sick and ended up in and out of the hospital, with countless symptoms but with no answers. I was in and out of the ER several times a week, BEGGING for answers, referred to many specialists over and over only to be told my labs were normal and sent on my way. I had debilitating vertigo on a regular basis, allergic reactions to everything and anything, chronic urticaria (hives), any time i ate the smallest thing my body would react terribly to it, severe weakness, extreme fatigue hair loss, chest pain, GERD that kept me up all night, heart palpitations, tachycardia for no reason, i ate high calorie food and couldn't gain a single pound I had dropped down to a scary 92lbs for seemingly no reason, and so many more symptoms. I was put on a regimen of natural medicine and supplements to fix the damage that had been caused. My journey was a tough one, and I took it very slow since I'm so sensitive to everything, and she helped me every step of the way. ALL of those symptoms are gone, I am still working on healing, especially since I was severely deficient in iron, and healing my nervous system so I can keep everything else in balance, but I am functional now, and doing so much better. Dr. Lissa has helped me get my life back, and I can't even express how grateful I am. Doctors swore up and down I would not heal my GERD without taking their PPIs, they literally told me it was IMPOSSIBLE, (without doing any actual tests on me of course, I had low stomach acid so their PPIs would have made me sicker, ironically), but here I am now, no more GERD, zero use of PPIs. If you are reading this, and your story is similar, and you're tired of the back and forth with hospitals, please do yourself a favor, and see this doctor. Your life will change, for the better. I am forever grateful for this wonderful doctor, and I will continue to see her for my wellness for as long as she accepts patients. Most places I was looking at were charging triple what they charge here and that's not the reason why I decided to give this place a try, but the good reviews lured me in. I didn't have an appointment but I didn't have to wait long. I just filled out a form and was seen within about 5 minutes. Dr. Chang was very knowledgeable, I also loved his honesty, he said he couldn't help me, because my symptoms weren't exactly allergies. I think anyone else would have tried to sell me something just because. But he was honest and thoroughly explained to me what could help me and how the body/mind works that could be affecting it. “Calle Mayor Acupuncture is wonderful and they are open on Saturdays. I really appreciate Dr. Daniel Lim's work. Fluent in Korean and English. They have a bathroom, offer water bottles, provide disposable gown tops to help w/acupuncture, heated lamps to stay warm, air filters in every room, wooden hangers so your clothes don't get wrinkled. He's conscientious and considerate. Once I even asked to use his refrigerator to keep some of my leftover lunch cold. There is plenty of parking, but it isn't really shaded. On our first meeting he looked at my tongue and deduced I have insomnia. He does cupping so you get those bruises but feels great for my back afterward. He's super flexible about scheduling and does text messaging to remind you of appointments. Accepts insurance. Can do herbal supplements but have not tried them.
