I have been a regular client at SPATHENEE spa in Redondo Beach for the past four years, and it has become a destination for relaxation for me. I initially came for deep tissue massage therapy to help manage lingering back and shoulder pain.My massage therapist took the time to understand my problem areas and customized the pressure and technique specifically to target those spots. I walked out feeling like a new person, standing taller and looser, and the pain relief lasted for days.More recently, I have incorporated use of the infrared sauna into my visits. Hands downs the best massage I have ever received in my life. I told them that I workout but don’t stretch, I felt stiff and I’m a nurse who is on my feet for 12+ hours a day-they recommended the sports massage. Gida has gifted hands. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and pain. Every move felt intentional and she worked on all parts of my body. I got a 60 min but def should have got 90 mins. She cracked and massaged my soul-it was that good! Then she got on my back (like literally was sitting on my back) - once that happen I knew she wasn’t about to play no games.
