I have been receiving acupuncture treatments for over 30 years, and without reservation, Dr. Kim is the best acupuncturist I have encountered to date.

By way of background, I previously received care from a doctorally trained, top-ranked practitioner, which taught me a great deal about Eastern medicine and helped me develop a rigorous standard for evaluating acupuncturists. That foundation included understanding its more than 2,200-year documented clinical history, the significance of the meridian channels, the purpose and effects of specific acupuncture points, and my own successful treatment outcomes. That is precisely why Dr. Kim stands out at the highest level.

As a result of that experience, I developed a very high standard and a clear evaluation framework for determining whom I trust to insert upwards of twenty needles into my feet, hands, and upper body. While many practitioners may hold credentials, I have found that true expertise is revealed in the following areas:
• The practitioner’s ability to accurately view and interpret the condition of the tongue, which identifies various internal imbalances and maladies.
• Skill and accuracy in taking and interpreting the pulse.
