Acu Wellness, an acupuncture and wellness clinic located in the heart of Torrance, aims to provide exceptional alternative medicinal services to the community. As one of the oldest and most commonly used healing systems, acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into the body at specific points, which may be combined with heat, pressure, or light.
At Acu Wellness, patients are welcomed with a warm smile and soothing music, creating a personalized and calming wellness experience. The skilled acupuncturist, Dr. Joon, is known for his expertise, gentle approach, and deep knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. Many patients have reported positive results, including relief from chronic hip pain, neck pain, lower back pain, and ailments like plantar fasciitis and Sciatic Nerve issues.
The clinic offers a variety of painless acupuncture treatments, including magnetic acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping therapy, acupressure, therapeutic exercises, and moxibustion. Clients appreciate the cleanliness and positive atmosphere of Acu Wellness, describing it as an "awesome place" that truly helps them feel better. Ease of appointment scheduling is another reason many continue their care with Dr. Joon, who also provides herbal treatment for various needs, making it a great choice for the entire family.
Highly recommended! After my car accident I did chiro treatment and it made it worst! Doing acupuncture and cupping right now is helping ease the pain and numbness in my neck arm and back so I can at least be functional and do everyday tasks.
My headaches are better. The team is amazing!
This place is excellent! Sent there to manage shoulder pain from torn rotator/labrum and received instant relief. Suprising thing was he noticed inflammation in legs due to circulation issue and almost completely eradicated it. Greatly improved! Wonjoon is a master at his craft! Luv this place 🤙🏾
I’ve had a wonderful experience with my acupuncturist and highly recommend him. He always takes the time to check in at the beginning of each appointment to see how I’m feeling and tailor the treatment to what I need that day. He’s flexible, attentive, and creates such a calm, welcoming environment that I feel completely at ease. In fact, I’ve fallen asleep during almost every appointment because it’s so relaxing! I always leave feeling refreshed, cared for, and looking forward to my next visit. If you’re looking for someone who is both skilled and compassionate, I can’t recommend him enough.
