They keep me informed of the care they give to my dogs, and i totally trust their judgement and decisions. They strangely have a special connection with the animals, which makes their care that much better. Ive taken all my dogs to Thornhill pet hospital and wouldnt even consider any other veterinarian.“

“Definitely five stars from us. Taking your fur baby for a surgery is never fun. Our Roxy needed TPLO surgery after hurting both back knees. Our Dr. was very genuine when giving us options during the consultation. Also, the staff was very professional and comforting. I hope not to return and if I do, I have the confidence my fur baby will be treated with comfort.“

“My dog is very reactive to vet visits, so I wanted to try a house call to make it a little easier for her. Dr. Reid and Kelsea were such an amazing team who worked together to make me and my dog feel comfortable. They talked me through each step and how I could help my dog for future vet visits. “I had a minor concern for my dog, a large rash and hitching/scratching. The receptionist could not book an appointment when I visited the hospital, but she gave me advice and I was able to book an appointment the next day once they were done with their triage for the day. The doctor addressed both the current concern for my dog but also discussed his health in general and his current medications since he is an older dog with a heart murmur. The staff is attentive, proactive and kind.“

“My kitty, Calypso, always had wonderful care with everyone at Claremont. The front desk staff is efficient and pleasant. The techs are caring and gracious. The doctors who saw Calypso, Leggeri and McDonald, are informative, thorough and communicative. However, my most recent need was euthanizing my dear sweet friend. It followed a month of exploration into what was wrong, referring me to an outside vet for confirmation and discussion so that I was able to make the decision to go the palliative care/end of life route that was best for Calypso. When the time came to let Calypso go, the Claremont front desk was so kind. The tech was so gentle. Dr. McDonald was professional yet understanding, tender and compassionate, letting me know exactly what she was about to do on each step. The empathy from all was not sappy but distinct. I was given as much private time with Calypso as I needed during the various stages of the process. It was awful to lose my beloved sweetheart but I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me help Calypso move onto her next journey. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you all enough.“

“The BEST This is the best vet all around office clinic I have ever known in my life and at the age of almost 60 and having had many animals and known many vets. We recently moved from the East Bay to Marin however I will still take my animals to this vet office. Best most knowledgeable team of veterinarians best front office. Friendly and committed to good service best policies.. This is a general vet office that offers holistic options This team could also recommend some good specialist and I have other reviews for internist cardiologist etc.“

“Dr. Dorsey and Dr. Hart are the nicest, kindest, most professional veterinarians. They have nursed and helped me through four cats. I love their office staff. They try to get appointments for any of my fur babies, and when one of them passed away, the office gave a donation to a cat illness research. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all their service and care for my pets. They are so reassuring and when the time comes for… Again, they are empathetic and sympathetic.“

“I got my dog spayed here recently and was incredibly impressed by how well run this place was. They communicated all the instructions very clearly ahead of time, so I knew exactly what to expect. The surgery went perfectly, my dog recovered very quickly and needed no follow-ups. You don’t get any personalized care, but that’s to be expected. I was hesitant to use a clinic for this procedure, but was pleasantly surprised by the facility and the staff. “We’ve taken two dogs here over the years, some with odd diagnoses, and all have been treated accurately. We can even get refills of some medications from reception without bringing the dog in (again) and waiting, which saves the price of a visit (which is a reasonable price for a visit). Dr. Tan is an old school practitioner and he will see any person and animal that walks through the door - first come, first served, hours between 10am-2pm. Definitely recommend Dr. Tan’s practice and dread the day he decides to retire!“
