The Cheshire Cat Clinic

We’re so glad Cheshire is around! Our 8 y/o cat is skittish, and going to a cat-only clinic has helped us with minimizing stressors for him. It makes us feel good to know, too, that all the staff he’ll be seeing are cat people. The vet techs are so friendly and kind to our anxious kitty. Super skilled working with a reluctant cat (nail trim, blood draw, urine draw, flea med), and with soothing him. Dr. Atid is patient with him as well as with us; she listens to our concerns and has given us straightforward information and actionable advice. My friend recommended this vet, and I just had a great first visit. The vet sat with me for a good chunk of time and talked through and explained everything going on with my cat, then laid out all the options. I kinda knew everything from our previous vet, but this was the most comprehensive explanation. Then the staff offered to help me carry my cat's ridiculously giant carrier to my car, which is just crazy unnecessary niceness (is Oakland in the Midwest now?!).

The prices were also reasonable: $105 for the senior cat consultation - same as my old vet who would be in and out in 10 mins or less because they were swamped; $20 for the B12 shot; and $200 for labs which… read full review

Kind and compassionate. I took my vet-adverse cat here and they made her so comfortable for her annual exam. They even switched medication forms for me when my cat wouldn’t handle an allergy skin spray and got her a dissolvable pill to take instead. Reasonable prices!
