“I had never received acupuncture treatment prior to my first visit with Dr. Alison Winters, but after several months of treatment I cannot imagine going back! Alison is empathetic, kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Her ability to focus on my physical and mental needs while providing excellent holistic service is truly remarkable. Ever since my first visit, I've been singing her praises to anybody with ailments that could benefit from Alison's care (so basically everybody I know). If you are on the fence about trying acupuncture or are considering switching to a new provider, go see Dr. A!“

“Short version: coming here truly helped me to heal from an ankle injury. I highly recommend John Luna-Sparks for any help with pain! His caring attitude combined with his extensive knowledge make him an amazing provider.Longer version: I had an ankle injury, with damage to various tendons and ligaments, keeping me not only from walking as much as I’d like but also from driving. My regular doctor did a quick video visit with me and then gave me some generic exercises to do.My friend, an ER nurse, recommended John for sports medicine acupuncture. He spent quite a bit of time assessing me and explaining to me in detail both my injury and the treatment.I felt results quickly. Though total improvement took time, the visits made noticeable difference.John was caring, supportive, informative, and overall just wonderful to work with!“

“Juliana is extremely generous with her time and an all-around lovely human. When you're with her you know that you're in the hands of someone who cares about you and your health and making you feel as good as possible. I always leave feeling relaxed and loose and like I'm ready to take on my week. I also love that Juliana really *hears* me when I tell her about something that doesn't feel right in my body. She trusts my own intuition and that's something I struggle to find in other venues. It feels amazing to have someone listen to you, someone who keeps updated on multiple aspects of your life from week to week, and who is genuinely determined to make your life as healthy and happy as possible.“

“I came in for PTSD symptoms (sexual trauma). When my boyfriend mentioned acupuncture for his back pain, he mentioned many other ways acupuncture can help a person. I was very excited because of the reviews but extremely nervous for the actual experience. I totally misjudged the guy in which I automatically asked for a female in order to feel more comfortable. I didn't mean to offend anybody. Long story short I ended up going after my boyfriend. First off, Charles was very sweet and calming. I felt very relaxed and safe during the whole experience. I felt as if all the bad memories were okay because the physical pain was getting cleansed out of my body. Since I'd been having horrible stomach problems and I'd stress out immensely. Right I felt like myself and present in the moment. I noticed a de clutter in my mind & my body felt light as a feather. Very amazing experience. Definitely going back again!“

“Kokko Wellness is a wonderful place. When i have acupuncture, I prefer they follow the treatment with acupuncture as well. Kokko Wellness does that each time. Really helps with the progress of healing. This is based upon my 20 plus years of reaching out to acupuncturists. And the staff is great.“

“Believe all the reviews here. Dale has been the greatest medical practitioner I've had in the States while battling through my pain issues for three years. His office is so clean and organized. His calm energy, skills, and bedside manners are second to none. I have worked with many Eastern medical doctors from work, volunteering, and research and have gone to different countries including Korea and China. Dale is the type of doctor you want. He spends time with you and listens to your concerns that most MDs would ignore. For something like an extremely painful pinched nerve on my shoulder that would've taken weeks to heal, he was able to completely resolve in just one session. He has helped my severe back problem so much that my life is not so miserable anymore. I will keep going to Dale.“

“I’m so grateful a friend told me about Berkeley Community Acupuncture several years ago. The caring and skilled acupuncturists have helped me with all sorts of issues including back and foot pain, sinus congestion, insomnia and stress. Since it’s community acupuncture, they treat patients on a sliding scale starting at $30. Treatment is delivered in a large room with soothing music and lots of air purifiers. Put on your face mask, settle into a recliner, and your acupuncturist will talk to you briefly before applying needles. It’s easy to make and manage appointments with an app. Pro tip: if you’re traveling across a few time zones, come in for ear seeds to help ease the transition.“

“I’ve been to a handful of acupuncturist in the past for neck/back pain and none match up to the care I received from Claudia today. She is a true a master at her craft and extremely gifted. I’ve never felt more taken care of, seen, and held by a practitioner before. She is the most thoughtful, kind, and compassionate person. 18 out of 10 would highly recommend.“

“i came here after hearing extensive first hand accounts from my mom and aunties about how incredible Judy is, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. God bless this woman. not only is Judy an incredibly skilled and hard working person, she is also so kind and motherly. i've been to many acupuncturists in the past who stick a couple needles in you and call it a day, but Judy is not that. she's been the first person i've gone to who is working and on her feet the full 90+ minutes i was there. that alone deserves so much respect, but she was also incredibly mindful of where i was feeling pain, always checking in and tailoring my treatment to my specific needs. although the treatment itself is not a walk in the park, hours later i'm feeling much looser and more comfortable compared to the months of chronic pain i was suffering beforehand. definitely recommend this office. Judy is doing God's work some tips: -be ready to give a run down of your health history when making your appointment. from my experience, it helps Judy know what to treat as well as curb expectations of what she can and can't do for you. she won't lie to you! -bring loose fitting clothes. the office can provide some but i find it easier to come in something where the sleeve and pant legs can be easily rolled up and you can hop right into treatment -bring proof of vaccination and ID -masks are required“
