I’ve tried so many places in Walnut Creek over the years and never truly liked any of them. They’re either too expensive, hard to book days in advance, or feel way too commercial.

I walked by this afternoon, decided to pop in, and asked if they had time for a 90-minute massage. She said yes. The session was amazing — the room was very clean, the masseuse didn’t talk or interrupt the experience, and she was both professional and incredibly skillful.

When I checked out, I told her I had never heard of this place. She said she’s never done any advertising. Omg no wonder!

“I had my first massage at Total Reflexology Studio recently, which was so enjoyable that I went back again a few days later. I got a 60-minute foot massage both times, and both were heavenly. The massage starts with a hot water soak for your feet while your face and scalp get a mini massage. The rest of the hour is focused on your tootsies and legs. Pretty sure I fell asleep both times, which is partly because the chair is sooo squishy and comfy. All this for a very reasonable $50. I saw another reviewer who wasn't thrilled about the fact that the massage therapists answer the phone during your massage. That's true - if both therapists are working at the same time, one of them will answer incoming calls. It's at most slightly distracting, but given that this is a very small operation and (again) low cost, it didn't seem unreasonable or objectionable to me.“
