“Our heating system randomly stopped working after we changed the batteries in our thermostat. I tried all the tricks I could find on Google but nothing worked. It was really cold outside! I called Rush Air Mechanical and received a call back quickly. I was not able to answer at that moment, but a few minutes later, Alex texted me. We subsequently communicated via text and via phone. I sent him pictures and videos, and he tried to help me figure things out. When this wasn’t possible, he came over within an hour! He got the system working within 15 minutes. “Had a couple of issues at my parent's home and James resolved both. Their dryer was continuously increasing time for each load of laundry, James saw that a mesh filter was incorrectly added to the vent, which was trapping lint. He removed the mesh filter and the problem was solved! Also, their forced air unit was noisy and struggling to get heat out. A simple filter change fixed the problem.“

Jeff Stuckert called me back between his jobs and explained the common furnace problems and how to find them on the circuit board under the heating section. Then he asked for me to send him the wiring diagram photos and found the fuse which could be the problem. It was. Heat went on and off in response to the thermostat. Eagle Refrigeration had been chosen by the property manager to replace the heater. The heater installers (Franks and David) who work under owner Herman Escajadillo, were extremely thorough and knowledgeable and had quite pleasant demeanors. “Our A/C went out on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, during the absolutely hottest days of our summer 100+ degrees! We called the people who we have used recently and they were going to be closed on Sunday and Monday. Someone posted on NextDoor that they had a great experience with McFarlane the day before, so I called Monday morning and he said he was in Marin County and would be at our house at 1:00 PM. He arrived at 12:40, fixed our unit and was back on the road by 1:00! We wanted to pay him before he left, but he said he'd bill us! The bill was very reasonable. Our A/C is about 18 years old, so we expected we would have to replace it, but he told us not to replace it until it quit on us. He could have sold us a new unit. When the times comes, McFarlane is who we'll be calling!“
