There are no words to thank Dr. Yarmand and everyone at Clear Purpose enough for what they do. After years of being active - running, biking, yoga, etc,- a severe back injury left me believing that I had little choice but to slowly adapt to a "new normal" of chronic and increasing back, hip, and neck pain. And with decreased levels of mobility came an increase in anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Travel for my work is essential and that became more and more unthinkable. Surgery and drugs were about my only option. But I wanted to avoid all that if I could. So when a friend recommended Clear Purpose, I thought I'd give it a try. I'd always been skeptical of chiropractic care, but Dr. Yarmand's professionalism, kindness, and thoroughness helped to put me at ease. He quickly targeted some very specific and basic alignment issues that were root causes for most all my issues. His knowledge of the body's mechanics and his holistic and common sense approach to healing are extremely reassuring and encouraging. He would not want me to use the word "miracle" - because what he does is just all so logical - but the changes have been amazing and do feel pretty miraculous. He's worked with me over the past year to keep my body in tune and has made me aware of simple things I can do when out of the office to help heal myself. Bit by bit, and without surgery or drugs, the veil of pain is lifting. I have improved so much that at last I am able to travel more and to get back on my beloved bike. I have even begin to run again. I also want to mention the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff and especially the great work done by Carol - the amazing massage therapist genius that she is! I'm just very grateful. It is another reminder that so many limits we feel we have are not necessarily the end of the story. Change is always possible.
