dustin and his crew are the best! from the first phone call to the friendly goodbye at the end, everyone was very professional, polite, and made sure i was happy. most importantly, they did an excellent job cleaning our carpets! we have a pretty big condo and the team worked on every inch in just a few hours. even spots that looked fine before ended up looking brighter and cleaner after they finished. my wife and i highly recommend colin & sons carpet cleaning service, and we’ll use them again for any future carpet cleaning!

My long time hair dresser retired recently and I've been on a major search for my new go to pro! I liked the compliments for Tracy that I found on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I happened to find this gem on Google. I was flying in from out of state and emailed them to request a quote. Sam replied quickly asking for what I was looking for. I replied and they locked me in for a time that worked for me. The last barber shop left my hair uneven and I was finally able to get my hair cut the way I wanted, thanks to Brenda. Mindy is an amazing hairdresser with decades of experience. I have been going to her for years. She gives honest feedback when I ask and will cut my hair taking into account the texture and my lifestyle. She makes my hair low maintenance, and it grows out still looking great (a sign of an expert). I have always had long hair but decided to go for a bob for the first time. She walked me through the process, adjusting to fit my needs. My husband also goes to her too for men cuts, and he received lots of compliments from the family. Thank you Mindy. We will miss you when we move to the East Coast.

I got a manicure and a pedicure: right as I walked in with my mom we got seated down in massage chairs while getting a relaxing foot massage and arm massage. They also exfoliated my legs and put lotion; they have never felt softer. Overall great experience and really recommend!
So glad to have found Zenibella. Just moved to the area and tried 3 other nail salons nearby, all leaving me underwhelmed. This one didn't show up on Google Maps, but after driving by and seeing it, thought I would give it a try. Wish they had an online appt scheduler, but was lucky to get an appt after first attempt in calling. I couldn't come until about 1 1/2 hrs before they closed and needed both a gel mani and a pedi. Even though this would run over their closing time, they confirmed the appt anyway. Tammy (not sure spelling) was fabulous! Gentle, meticulous and hospitable. I am thrilled. The salon is extremely clean, in a quite and relaxing location and has a modern beautiful and comfortable aesthetic. Feels like a salon or spa, not like a nail factory. Found my new Nail Salon!
I’ve been coming to Tonia for my nails here for 10 years, she knows me and my kids and she’s amazing, my nails never peel and last 3 weeks or more. Now my oldest daughter comes along. Highly recommend Tonia and all her awesome coworkers.

Hidden gem in Downtown Los Altos. I’ve normally been to Nail Salons having been raised in East Bay & working in South Bay San Jose but this one is becoming a frequent stop of mine. I love that Downtown Los Altos is so relaxing, a great place for a walk around window shopping, some coffee or errands. Downtown has Hygia, a top tier nail salon, maybe downtown is just missing a Day Spa with a Sauna or a Dessert Shop like Europe and they may be set. Anyways, my previous nail salon next to my Home changed ownership, sadly and service went down. Also I noticed the acrylic material would not last at my old Nail Salon more than two weeks but NOT the case here at Hygia, their acrylic lasts forever to me and I'm known to do heavy work and house work with my hands. Also the color that goes on top of the acrylic, usually that chips off too at other places and so far I'm still good. Jenn was my last Nail Tech but all of the ladies are so nice and comforting, as well as talented. Sometimes there's no consistency in end product but here the experience with acrylic sets has been great. Make it part of your Downtown Los Altos routine or next to place to take in some self care, treat yourself to Hygia soon!

Sara is a very talented makeup artist. She did my makeup for my wedding and also did my makeup for a video shoot I recently had. She knows how to accentuate beauty without making you look unrecognizable or clownish. She also knows the difference between what is needed for a photo shoot vs video vs real life. If you have an important event coming up, don't risk going to anyone else. Sara is a true professional. She has tons of experience and can handle all types of skin, people, and looks. She will also listen to what you want and make it happen. I've had my makeup done by others in the past, but no one is as good as Sara.

We made the horrible mistake or originally going with Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape for our front and back yard project. From the beginning, our project was plagued by an absence of governance, poor quality workmanship and a lack of project management.
Distraught, we sought the recommendation of a trusted friend who had recently completed and was very happy with his own yard project. He enthusiastically recommended Peter Pazmany, and for that we are forever indebted.
To say that Peter and the entire team at Pazmany were lifesavers would be an understatement. Our yard project was the dream of an 86 year old man, and we thought it was a total loss after the Black Diamond experience. But Peter salvaged it. He listened well as we described what we were hoping for, captured our hopes and goals perfectly in the project scope, and worked with us to hit our budget without compromising project quality and outcome.
Here's a (very) short list of what differentiates Pazmany from Black Diamond and the others:
- Peter, the founder/CEO, is personally involved throughout. While Black Diamond's CEO refused to visit even after it became apparent that their project was faulty, Peter regularly came unprompted during the Pazmany project, surveying the work, double checking items, and even assisting with tasks such as plant layout.
- All the workers on site were actual employees of Pazmany. This is different from not just Black Diamond, who supplies a project manager but all others are subcontractors, but most others as well. This makes a HUGE difference. Pazmany's workers were well trained and highly experienced. They obviously knew how to work as a team, what was expected of them, and shared the corporate commitment to customer satisfaction.
- They take radical responsibility for their work. This means that any issue that comes up where a mistake may have been made, they immediately acknowledge their error course correct. For instance, some of the stepping stones on our pathway were cut a bit too big. When this was brought to their attention, Pazmany had someone out right away to correct this. No argument or issue whatsoever. Just a focus on customer satisfaction. Juxtapose this with Black Diamond who installed faulty irrigation valves, repeatedly insisted they were performing as designed despite the persistent leakage, and only admitted the problem once I personally opened the valve to show them (at which point they replaced them with valves that also were faulty!)
- Peter, Wayne, and the entire crew have exceptionally broad knowledge. While we knew many of the specifics of what we wanted for our project, there were key parts of the yard where our intention was clear, but our vision wasn't. For instance, we wanted a natural feel for our patio area and an inviting flow to/from our deck, we didn't know how to design this or what materials to use. Pazmany laid out something that captured our thoughts perfectly, first conceptually and then on the ground with markers, working with us to fine tune it. The end result is that it's 100% the form, feel and flow that we wanted.
- And much, much more
My hope in sharing this publicly is that others won't make the same mistake that I did. Peter and the entire team at Pazmany are talented, honest, fair, and work with integrity. These are characteristics that should be more common in the world of home contractors. For these reasons, Pazmany should be the very first call when it comes time to landscape.

I've been going to XL for over the past couple of years now and he is the most professional, friendly and compassionate acupuncturist that I know of.He was able to diagnose and heal my repeated injuries to my neck after suffering numerous rear end car accidents over the years.Stanford Health prescribed me pain meds and recommended I see a physical therapist.Although, the physical therapist helped me rehabilitate my neck, it was my trip to XL that healed my neck completely. When I came in I still had this clicking sound on my neck whenever I titled it at an angle. After a few sessions, the clicking sound is gone!Went in for a tennis elbow, a frozen shoulder, lower back pain. Gone after multiple sessions.I texted him just recently and had to reschedule my session to earlier in the week because I was experiencing intermittent chest pains and thought it was heart related.Upon talking to him and informing him of my symptoms, he knew exactly where to place the needle in my chest. Exactly where the pain was emanating. What I had was a pinched nerve from overexercising. After a single session, he was able to eliminate the pain.He is such a miracle worker IMO.
