I went here for my first time recently. Tammy cut my hair. Since it was our first time and I have a hard time expressing what I want with my wavy-curly hair, that I like to treat like it's straight, Tammy went slow.
Throughout the cut Tammy asked how I liked the length and I was able to give feedback, which is great because I've been places where I don't know how it's going until it's too late.
I got a great haircut. I'm happy with my hair.
I was introduced to this place through a friend who's been coming here for a long time. Michelle is great and very patient, careful and sets expectations well ( transparent at the start on estimated price, asks before putting in more dramatic layers, etc). She's also friendly to talk to. Only nit was that the styling could have been a little better but most places wouldn't even make that part of the haircut. She spent a generous amount of time on the cut after washing my hair and adjusted the haircut a few time after the initial trim. The store is conveniently located in Mountain View near Walmart and sprouts, and they apparently also do nails / mani / pedis. Very no frills vibe but I'm personally ok with that. They were flexible on how you pay, too. Overall pretty pleased and plan to be back.
Amazing haircut from Tony!!! I had just 30 minutes, so asked for a quick cut. Even though we were rushed, he managed to give me one of the best haircuts ever-- with lots of layers, volume, and kick. All for $45. He is talented and clearly loves his work.
