“It has taken me a while to finally get this review written but my satisfaction with Ryan and his Kelly Roofing team has only improved over time. I had a complete re-roofing done in advance of the installation of a solar power system - which is another story - and selected Kelly Roofing, in part because of the Yelp reviews but largely because of my interaction with Ryan when he came to give me an estimate. Kelly Roofing was the most distant roofer but those closer to our home just couldn't compare with Ryan's knowledge and approach. And in addition to being an expert, he is also a nice guy. We chose the Presidential line of shingles, which I think surprised Ryan as much as it did us. They look amazing and have resulted in multiple positive comments from neighbors and others. Ryan and his crew had to wait a bit for the shingles to be manufactured and available to him but when they began working, it went smoothly and quickly, from our perspective. The entire crew was personable and easy to work with and we are extremely pleased with the entire process with Ryan. I absolutely recommend Kelly Roofing! Now, as for the solar installation, this did not go very well. The solar installation company was TERRIBLE! The solar crew showed up on one of the hottest days of the year and even after warning them that the roof was brand new, they proceeded to absolutely trash it. We lodged complaints with SunPower (which was very responsive and upstanding and who I would also recommend if you are considering solar power) who immediately sent a representative to examine the roof. They, too, were appalled at the damage done to the roof and took responsibility for dealing with the installation company. Long story short, the solar panels had to be removed and the brand new roof replaced at the solar installation company's expense. Ryan, too, was amazed at the damage but quickly got to work to replace the damaged roof - nearly 1/3 of the roof had to be removed and replaced. Sadly, the solar installation company was not upstanding and it took weeks to actually pay Ryan after many complaints by us and direct contact. NONE of this part relates to the work Kelly Roofing did - twice - except to say that once again, Ryan and Kelly Roofing came through and did an OUTSTANDING job integrating the replaced portions of the roof into the existing roof. While I don't think we'll be needing to replace our roof anytime soon, I will most definitely reach out to Ryan and Kelly Roofing and hope that he is once again willing to make the drive. “Halco roofing replaced my roof back in 2006. Recently, my homeowners insurance company requested proof the roof had been replaced. I located some old paperwork with a phone number, but I could not locate my final paperwork. Jennifer at Halco returned my call the same day, and by the next day had sent me a letter confirming the date, type of roof, warranty, etc. Everything I needed.
