“This review is overdue. I had my house treated by Solo for both subterranean and drywood termites 10 years ago. At the time, Solo was the only pest control company I spoke with that wasn’t pushing tenting — and based on my research, that was exactly what I wanted.

Since then, we’ve seen no further evidence of subterranean termites, and any new signs of drywood activity have been treated during annual inspections by Steve. Why am I confident these were real cases of new activity? For one thing, after 10 years of working with him, I trust Steve. For another, he always shows me exactly what he’s found and explains whether it is — or isn’t — evidence of termites. He also keeps records and has an excellent memory for previously treated spots, so he avoids false positives.

Finally, this review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning that Steve is a genuinely nice guy and very easy to talk to. Needless to say, I recommend Solo wholeheartedly.“

“There might be hope for everyone having homeowner's insurance cancelation threats because of alleged roof problems. After getting my Liberty Mutual non-renewal letter, Brian from S. County Roofing ((949) 597-0192) did an inspection and wrote a report that my roof was fine, which I emailed Liberty. They kept emailing me back rejecting it saying they were going to cancel me unless I fixed the roof's alleged mildew/moss/etc problems. I was getting ready to sign up with Lemonade insurance or Seaview Insurance (suggested by Paul my great insurance guy 949-366-1080). Suddenly I got a letter saying they reevaluated the situation and weren't going to cancel me. I don't know if this tactic will work for everyone but I wanted to share this. Good luck everyone and thank you S. County roofing for saving the day.“

“Pacific Crest did a major roofing job for us. They took off all tiles, replaced termite eaten and rotten plywood, replaced worn underlayment, and waited for termite tenting before replacing all the tiles. They were not the lowest estimate among five I had gotten, but not the highest either. But my decision to go with them was based on the expertise I experienced when the roof was looked at before the estimate was given and the reviews I read on Yelp. I was not disappointed. They did the work in a timely, efficient, and very professional fashion. There was one glitch that was discovered later, but Jay made good on that with no fuss or argument. You get what you pay for, and that is exactly the great experience we had with Pacific Crest.“

My husband contacted many different roofing companies and Dean was the only one to come over (same day) and gave us honest advice. No work was done (we have a metal roof, and apparently there's some other issues with the way it was originally installed, which we were not aware of earlier), but he spent a lot of time explaining and provided many pearls of roof wisdom...best of all, he did this at ZERO charge. The work was high quality, the price was very reasonable, the crew were thoughtful and tidy, and the whole process was smooth and professional. “I live in Mission Viejo, CA and got the roof repair done by Rescue Roofers in August 2024. This was not a minor repair job but a partial roof repair job approximately 1500 SF. The job consisted of removing ceramic tiles from the portion of the roof, removing 30 years old original black paper where needed, replacing with two (2) layers of 40# rubberized membrane secured to the entire deck with plastic cap nails. The roof was first covered with 1" X 8 ft plywood, if needed, depending on 30 year damage of the roof. The original or new tiles were replaced. This job was done over about a 2 week time period by 3 workers who worked in the intense Southern California heat (100+F) at the time in southern California this job was underway. These workers were supervised partially during the day. All of the crew was polite, respectful and hard working, They seldom asked for anything and except for their lunch break kept on pushing to complete the task. Every day after completion of the day's work, they cleaned up, sweeped any trash and stacked their tools on one one side, When all the repairs etc. were complete, the complete roof was pressure washed and cleaned, with no remains of trash, mildew etc. left over the years of rain and debri. I was happy with the quality work. All the work done has been guaranteed by Rescue Roofers which will be tested out after coming rains etc. in Southern California. Tariq“

“I received a questionable message from my mortgage insurance company that they detected some damage on the roof and I'd need to have it repaired before they can renew my insurance next year. I had Purpose Roofing come by and check my roof and after doing a thorough inspection they concluded my roof was perfectly fine. They went the extra mile and contacted my insurance to get clarification on their initial message about my roof damage and it turns out that the insurance miscommunicated. They merely wanted me to have my roof inspected to make sure there was no damage. Arthur and team were completely professional and responsive. They took the extra time to understand my needs and also did the extra work to resolve the issue with my insurance. I definitely recommend and personally using them for any of my roofing needs in the future!“

“We had a very old roof in desperate need of replacing. I met with 8 different roofing companies, a couple of which declined to even give me a bid because of the complexity of the project (we have a very narrow driveway/bridge, the home is custom and the roof has a lot going on including copper features, and the house is built into a hillside which make scaffolding tricky). Anyway, Ozone's bid came back in roughly the same ballpark as the other roofers. So my bottom line became who do I have the most confidence in in their ability and experience with the roofing products I had already chosen. I wanted to use a composite slate tile by DaVinci. When I had mentioned this to Spencer he shared that his company had installed DaVinci tiles many times and they had even installed it on his brother's home. The installation process went as smoothly as I could have hoped for. The crew was friendly, considerate, on time in the mornings, they cleaned up at the close of every day, and they moved the project along in a timely manner. Any questions or concerns that I had I texted Spencer and he got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. He made sure that I was 100% happy with my beautiful new roof. The roof is absolutely lovely. We are so pleased with the results and our choice to go with Ozone Roofing.“
