“This review is overdue, I visited Skin Soup on 4/28 after making a trip to SF and was in dire need of a skin makeover with an upcoming honeymoon. It was last minute so I wasn’t able to book an appt with the owner Lauren but she was kind enough to squeeze me in with her esthetician Emily who was 5/5. She has the most calming and kind demeanor which already puts you at ease and while being extremely thorough, she also was excellent at explaining what part of the process we were in during the facial session. I had the Whole Bowl (90 mins) and was beyond impressed with the results. They only use the best high quality skincare such as Skinceuticals, as well as selling in store/can ship to your home too. The only disappoint is that they’re so far away from home and will be a treat visiting whenever I’m back up north. Definitely book a session with Emily. Your skin will thank you I promise!“

“I've been very fortunate to have discovered this lovely little salon in Lafayette. Monica is a true lash artist and savvy aesthetician because of the high end natural looking lush lashes that she creates which are the epitome of not-plastic or fake looking. Her microblading is delicate, painless and flawless too. She has an amazing eye for detail and she uses the latest advances in lash types and glue. The other amazing secret at MonMon is Long. He is a meticulous hard working gentleman who has transformed my very tired callused feet into soft pretty things over and over again. I love how clean and pretty the salon is. All the tools are UV sanitized and sealed in blue medical grade bags for each customer. They always line the pedicure tub with it's own sanitary cover and the scrubs/lotions are individually packed for extra safety. If anyone is lucky enough to get an appointment here, they will be sure to come back like I have the last 5 years.“
