“Dr. Mendoza seems very capable and skilled, along with his staff, at removing old fillings and replacing with new. You WANT a skilled dentist with a drill, or lazer, or anything in your mouth and Dr. Mendoza fits this to a "T". Though my procedures are preventative (do it now before there is a future problem) I thank you and your staff for making this a pleasant experience.“

“Only second appointment in, but time in and out has been efficient. Child has really hard time being with new people or doing new things. Granted we did a lot of prep for this appointment, staff here definitely made them feel comfortable and even got them to laugh during exam. I’m certainly next appointment will go even better. Parking is usually easy to find on street. The tokens at end of appointment are always a highlight. Hope to stay here for a long time“

“A really wonderful dentist. I drive all the way to Berkeley from Sacramento to see them. I have a rare medical condition that has specific implications for dental health. They've been accommodating and proactive -- doing research where necessary to make sure that I'm getting the best care possible. I've also never had an attempt to upsell cosmetic work here; no discussion of whitening or veneers, both of which I had every dentist mention every single visit the whole time I lived in Los Angeles. Do I have to bill back to insurance? Yes. Have I ever had a problem with that? No. Ultimately, billing back to insurance (as others have mentioned in their reviews) is a very small tradeoff for me when compared with having a dental team that I trust.“

“I specifically recommend this dentist for elder care. This dentist is world class in my personal opinion. When we brought our patient in, he greeted us while passing us in the hallway. The office suite 2318 is located on the 23rd floor, which required us to look it up before finding Dr. I's office. The bathrooms required keys due to issues with vagrant visitors. I specifically liked that there was a handicap accessible bathroom in addition to a male and female restroom. I enjoyed meeting another tradesman in my trade of programming while in the lobby. Overall, not only is Dr. I is among the nicest dentists I've ever met--the kindness carries over to his staff who helped hand me the key while assisting a elder patient needing to access the restroom. Another patient offered to return the key for us. It was a wonderful experience that I would wish upon anyone.“

“Update: the payment issue was resolved.

I went for a cleaning procedure in September. The procedure itself went fine.

Before the procedure, I was told that my insurance covers the entire cost of the procedure. However, after the procedure, I was told I need to pay the entire fee since my insurance doesn’t cover it.“

“Until now, I’ve always hated going to the dentist. New to this dental office, and could not have made a better choice. They care about their patients and it shows. The reception area, waiting area, dental exam rooms and the bathroom are very clean and neat. EVERYONE of the staff members I had the pleasure of coming in contact were professional and inviting! The dental hygienist had a soft touch and was very attentive. “As both a patient and one of Dr. Marc’s hygienists, I can confidently say he’s the real deal!
I recently had a crown done and was pretty apprehensive about the appointment, even knowing firsthand how skilled he is. I’m one of those odd ball patients that doesn’t numb easily. Dr.Marc put me completely at ease — his sense of humor, calm demeanor, and surprisingly painless injection made all the difference. I didn’t feel not even a twinge of pain. He installed several of my implants in the early 2000s and is now doing a fantastic job at my quarterly periodontal visits helping keep the pockets around my implants in check. I highly recommend his services. His staff is very friendly. We always have a lot of fun.“

I was able to get my teeth cleaned, rescheduled for a crown replacement, and referred to another service to treat an infection growing in the root of the tooth. “We’ve been going to this dentist since the first dentist visit for our first kid, now 7 years old. Now our second kid comes with his older sister. They always make the kids feel comfortable and even excited to go back and get toy surprises.

The office is clean and totally geared toward kids, with toys in the lobby and even a horse saddle for the x-ray chair! There’s lots of colorful fun artwork on the walls, TVs on the ceiling make our kids smile! while getting their teeth cleaned!!

They also have fun contests a few times each year, like send in a postcard with prizes for nearest, furthest, most colorful, etc.

They don’t take accept insurance, but we keep going even though they’re out off network for us.

Plenty of off-street parking in a small free parking lot.
