“A really wonderful dentist. I drive all the way to Berkeley from Sacramento to see them. I have a rare medical condition that has specific implications for dental health. They've been accommodating and proactive -- doing research where necessary to make sure that I'm getting the best care possible. I've also never had an attempt to upsell cosmetic work here; no discussion of whitening or veneers, both of which I had every dentist mention every single visit the whole time I lived in Los Angeles. Do I have to bill back to insurance? Yes. Have I ever had a problem with that? No. Ultimately, billing back to insurance (as others have mentioned in their reviews) is a very small tradeoff for me when compared with having a dental team that I trust.”

“I was having a serious tooth problem and my dentist was telling me things that didn't make sense to me and sounded like he was contradicting himself and also contradicting everything I knew about antibiotics, so I needed a 2nd opinion from another dentist. Dr. Rosales listened to me and then took a lot of time to explain things very clearly and in great detail which helped me greatly to 1) understand what was happening in my mouth and 2) what I should do, and even 3) helped me understand what my other dentist was trying to explain, but just couldn't explain things nearly as well as Dr. Rosales did. Besides that, his receptionists were very sweet and helpful, and the set-up at his office seemed very state-of-the-art, and comfortable with windows looking out on outdoor trees and plants and a tv to watch to distract you from dental work if it makes you anxious. Based on just this one visit (and everything I read on Yelp and on his website) I am very positively impressed with Dr. Rosales and expect to see him again in the future.”
