“We hired Solid Construction to perform a major repair to our home's garage. They did a great job, and we would hire them again.

We needed a complete roof rebuild, including new trusses, tile roofing, exterior stucco and painting, interior drywall and texturing, and lighting.

As with any project, there were a few unavoidable delays (e.g., permit issuance delay from the city, weather, etc.) and a couple minor issues along the way, but everything was resolved to our satisfaction, and we're pleased with the results.“

“We just had our kitchen & family room floor redone by NG Floors with laminate. They were very helpful in assisting us to find a compatible color for waterproof laminate that was complimentary to the hardwood in our breakfast room & the many oak cabinets in the kitchen. We carried samples home 4 times to discover big differences in our home from what we saw in showroom. Once material arrived, the installation was quick & efficient. Stan T who made our estimate was in charge of our installation & made himself available by phone & text. Their .machines tripped breakers knocking out TV, internet & plugs in several rooms. An electrician was dispatched promptly to fix the problem temporarily. With old house wiring I need to make some upgrades for safety.& security. The bid from NG was the best we recieved.“

“OUTSTANDING! Over the past 12 months the Folsom Designing Dreams team has remodeled two bathrooms and a kitchen for me in two different homes. Each a beautiful, spacious home in Placerville, CA built in the 1980s. So, as is often the case with these older homes you pull up the carpet or knock down a wall and it's like Forest Gump's box of chocolates, "always a surprise inside." But each time, Randy M. (owner) would come to me and say either we "have to" or "you should" fix this newest surprise. Now, I do not consider this up-selling, but more like a friend informing me of something his team noticed and then giving me the option of having it taken care of now by them or later by someone else. Each time Randy provides a verbal cost estimate for these "change orders" to the original scope of work. The thing is, his verbal estimates are always near 90% accurate. And his original written estimates at start of the project were each a dead-on, bullseye hit! Designing Dreams team members are all professional, courteous, highly skilled and take great pride in their work - "All Stars", each of them. I especially enjoyed my working relationship with my Project Mangers, Jeff E. and Duncan B., I always felt I could call or text either of them whenever I had a question or concern. They were consistently friendly, responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. I also appreciated the milestone based payment plan and the weekly forecast of work to be performed in my home and by whom. Oh and, the kitchen and two bath remodels turned out amazingly well and are highly lauded by visiting family and friends. :) These guys and gals at Designing Dreams ain't cheap . . . but I consider them of great value! “We remodeled our kitchen a few months ago. I am giving a 5 star review based on the time and supply chain issues. We contacted several companies on Yelp. Because of the supply chain issue, The first company said we would have to wait 9 months to start the job. The other companies said 3-6 months out. AMCP said 2-4 weeks and we started in 3 weeks. First of all, all of the work was excellent. That included the granite counter top production and installation, installation of appliances, adding the pull out shelves w soft closing, cleanup, patching up from demolition, and the small of carpentry work. I would rate the installation of the tile backsplash very good. Part of the problem was the framing metal. I don't think the corner of the shulers (sp.) came out as well as I expected. Otherwise the tile work was excellent. If I had one overall complaint, it would be the timing of the process. Because of supply chain issues, there were disruptions that delayed the project a little. I discussed this issue w Vadim and he informed me that he was going to add a supervisor. I think the project would have proceeded faster if someone would have been able to adjust the schedule of work order in order to reduce the down time. We loved our granite and there was enough extra granite to add two countertops to a bathroom and hallway. Normally this would have gone to waste. As expected our appliances were late. Vadim installed all of them except the refrigerator, which was delayed and I had the appliance company install it. They cleaned up after work every day. I am very happy with the finished product given we did not replace the cabinets and just had them painted. Overall, I would rate them as excellent. As with any project, there were unforeseen issues. Vadim would listen and address them. We are very happy with our finished product. We enjoy an updated kitchen with granite counter tops and modern appliances.“

“So easy to work with! An estimator came out and gave us a quote. We were on the books within 2 weeks! That arrived on time the morning of and promptly got to work removing the old carpet and baseboards. The majority of the 3 rooms were completed pretty quickly! They then discovered the estimator had under measured and they were short floor boards. The subcontractor searched high and low, found more and brought them to our house so the project could be finished. We were not charged for the extra materials. Their hard work, honesty and commitment to customer happiness ensured we will 100% use them again for other flooring needs. Thanks!“
