“Aleksey and his crew (Georgy, Javier and Will) did an amazing job of refinishing my almost 30 year old Brazilian Cherry wood floor. Sanding is done very evenly which is hard to do . The edges were done manually leaving minimal distrubance to the base of the walls. That was one of my main concerns since my drywall meets the floor directly without base boards. They also replaced some boards seamlessly. They are very careful and technically very competent. The floor is back to the original color and glory.<br><br>Aleksey was very responsive to inquiries and suggestions. He was very knowledgeable and lead us to good decisions along the way. The job was done on schedule. The crew was hard working and very pleasant. Aleksey was meticulous and made sure every detail was done correctly. It was obvious that he took great pride in his work. It was a pleasure to find someone who is so dedicated to his craft. I recommend him and his crew highly.”

“I found FloorOnline, by luck, online. I drove to their location in San Rafael and had the good fortune to meet Blair, son of the owner, who became my main contact. I went home and took a picture of what I wanted sanded and stained. He was able to determine square footage etc. Almost immediately I got a reply. The estimate seemed reasonable and I accepted it without getting any others. Blair came to the house to check out the job and arranged for his hardworking team to start the job. I was included in all decisions. Before sanding, everything in the kitchen was carefully and completely covered. Sample colors were tried on the sanded floor and was clearly able to see which color I wanted. Team was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Estimated time for completion was exact. Blair and his crew were the most on time people I have ever worked with. We liked the work so much, we immediately hired them for a second, larger job with the same results!”

“Larry Klosowski and his able team of Glenn and Steve, spent roughly two weeks refinishing a few thousand square feet of hardwood flooring in our home. Larry and his team operated very carefully in our home, caused no collateral damage to walls or anything else, fulfilled every commitment they made, and completed the job on time. Service afterwards was also spectacular. Price was reasonable. If I will ever need more work done to the floors, Rode Brothers will be the company I call first.”
“I found out about Rafael Floors from the great reviews they have. I was looking for carpet in my 3 bedrooms and hallway of my condo. I looked at a few places that didn’t cut it. When I went to Rafael Floors and spoke with Robert Gomez, I was really impressed with his knowledge about flooring and carpeting. It was obvious he had decades of experience. I told him what I was looking for, and he answered a bunch of questions I had about carpet, quality, and the selection. I went home with several samples to check out how they looked in the different light throughout the day. After looking at the samples in my place for a week, I found the perfect carpet and color I wanted. Robert came over for measurements and an estimate. Everything had gone smoothly and professional to this point where in other places there were flags that would stop me cold, and I would stop the process and move on. The whole selection and purchase process with Robert went smoothly, and they were ready to install the carpet before I was because I had some painting that needed to be done, and I had to delay them several times. When I was finally ready, Juan and Douglas arrived on time to install the carpet. It was a two-day process, and I was really impressed how methodical they were. It was like they were putting together a puzzle they were really familiar with and each part was being sized and put in its place. I later found out that Rafael Floors has a lengthy training process for their installers that takes years. It starts with a 5-year apprentice program where they work under a journeyman installer before they can go out to install a carpet. Juan described to me what a momentous and serious occasion it was after 5 years to finally have a project of his own and being responsible for all the materials and making the customer happy. They did a perfect job and I was one happy customer. That was 3 months ago and I wanted to be sure that others would see my review like I saw others’ so they would know what I know about Rafael Floors. “Last year we needed the stone tile in our shower restored and a stain removed. Bill at Bay Area Stone sent someone out who did a great job making the stone look great again. More recently, our granite counter in the kitchen had a pretty deep chip that had started to spread cracks. B A Stone came out and repaired it, made it look like new and completely stopped the crack, as well. No muss, no fuss.<br><br>This firm is very easy to work with and does top notch, high quality work. If you have issues with any stone tiles, counters, etc, give them a call, you will be happy with the results.”
