Floor Online, established in 1993 in San Francisco and expanded to Marin County in 1999, offers impeccable flooring installation and repair services. Specializing in hardwood, LVT, laminate, and carpet flooring for residential and commercial spaces, the showroom is open by appointment only for private consultations. Blair’s professionalism was evident from the moment of entering the shop, guiding customers to the right flooring for their home with competitive pricing. He demonstrated creative thinking to address unusual construction issues on a floating home, including creation of hatches to access the hull. Blair was extremely patient with many questions, came to the job site multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly, and communicated daily about progress. The installer, Jorge, did a beautiful job laying pre-finished flooring, creating seamless transitions between rooms, lacing in hardwood that needed replacement, and sanding and refinishing original hardwood that had become discolored and uneven. Billy and his team tore up carpeting and linoleum, then installed LVP in common areas and carpeting in bedrooms. They arrived on time or early, were friendly and available for questions, and came right out to fix any issues. Their cost and fees were transparent with a thorough and detailed quote. Blair and Terry know their business inside and out, are obsessed with quality, and ensure the end result is done right. Highly recommended.
I found FloorOnline, by luck, online. I drove to their location in San Rafael and had the good fortune to meet Blair, son of the owner, who became my main contact. I went home and took a picture of what I wanted sanded and stained. He was able to determine square footage etc. Almost immediately I got a reply. The estimate seemed reasonable and I accepted it without getting any others. Blair came to the house to check out the job and arranged for his hardworking team to start the job. We had a great experience working with Terry and Blair in the purchase of our new floors for our condo in Corte Madera. Thank you for taking such great care of the entire process. Your help was instrumental in choosing the best options for both color and sound transfer reduction.
