She not only specializes in brows but lash lifts which are super convenient for someone who doesn’t always have time to get ready in the morning. Put on a coat of mascara and you look like you just put on falsies.
If you follow her on IG and watch her stories, It’s amazing to watch her transform someone who had no brows and give them a brow shape using the nano technique. It really looks like they have hair but it’s a tattoo.

Akari has a profound gift that is a master blend of intuition and deep studied practice and wisdom. I booked this massage with my Groupon code for my birthday and I'm glad I did! I'm a law student who is very stressed and sits in front of a lap most of the day and I could feel the impacts of both of those on my body. I was searching for places that did full body massages but weren't asking for a ridiculous amount of money because like I said I'm in grad school. I wanted a female masseuse and after looking through her reviews on Google and about page I decided to book. I'm glad I did. you can choose your pressure levels and hands off areas which I appreciated! the hot stones were my favorite part! I did pressure 3 on 1-5 scale but I think I'd go down one level next time. I would recommend doing some light stretching before your massage. I did the 90 minute Swedish and deep pressure and paid a little over $120. the suite was nice and its located in a building with other suites for hairstylists, barbers, nail techs, waxing, etc.

From braids to silk presses to cuts and treatments, her salon is ready for whatever you need. She genuinely is knowledgeable about hair health and won’t just give you any old style if it’s not what’s best for your hair. I truly love her advice and input. I've been going to Tina for my waxes, and she is absolutely amazing! She's so gentle, quick, and professional, which makes the whole experience so much easier and more comfortable. What I really appreciate is how much she genuinely cares for your skin and sensitivities--she always takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and that your skin is well cared for during and after the service. The location is super convenient, and parking has never been an issue, which makes scheduling appointments stress-free. I highly recommend Tina if you're looking for someone who combines skill with true care and professionalism!

Melanie has been doing my hair for years. She knows what I want more than I do. She is excellent with curly hair and I have referred many a happy customer to her. My 16 year old daughter is even happy with the results of her haircuts and that says a lot for a 16 yo!
Got a great haircut from Lauren. I got the dry cut for curly hair and she cut and styled it great. I requested that it be cut in a way that looks good as it grows longer. It’s been a few months now and it still looks good!

This is only my second Yelp review, which I am leaving only because I feel it is necessary (and overdue). Lester has cut my hair every couple of weeks for 6 years. The haircuts are consistently the best I have ever gotten (and I've gotten my hair cut by excellent barbers across the country). He is always on time and professional. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
First time venturing to a new barber in my city. No walk ins here, appointment only. Booking was easy, and the shop has a great vibe. Brodie gave me a great cut, and styled it a little different than usual, which my wife appreciated. Only thing I'm not used to is the price, which may keep me from frequenting this shop.
Great spot! I walked in without an appointment, 10 minutes later I was in the chair getting a haircut. I am happy with the service and the vibe is great - all the guys who work there are cool.
Great service and attention to detail! I think they ne r to get an air filter though because it smells so strongly of chemicals, more than any salon I've been to. I got a medium length gel x manicure and it was $80 which I think is kind of expensive but I love how they turned out!

Martha Muga did a fine job on my friend Judith's hair!! She hadn't had a haircut in a long time, is elderly, a bit forgetful and no longer drives. So, I searched on Yelp for a nearby beauty shop with a good rating and we ended up at Shed. It was great. Thank you, Martha! We will be back for sure

Ken is wonderful person and excellent at his job. He first started wroking for me when I bought my 1926 home in 1998. It needed absoultely EVERYTHING. He put in a new water line from the street, bolted and sheer walled and reinforced a major beam to earthquake-proof it, all new electrical and copper plumbing, beautifully finished a large part of the home that only had a cement floor and sink with no interior walls, completely remodeled one bathroom, rebuilt an entire side of my home due to undetected termite rot, hooked up all my appliances and more. What I paid is irrelevent because it was so long ago.
What is relevant is that Ken is a magician. Every time you are upset about something not going right (because that will always happen with any big job), he will come into the situation and figure out a solution that makes everyone happy (including a highly problematic architect). I'm totally serious about this. This skill alone is worth everything. His crews' craftsmanship is excellent. He finishes work within the time estimates. This is how good of a contractor Ken is: He has been working in the East Bay since the late 1970s and since the 1980s he has been living in the same home in North Berkeley to the present. You will always be able to contact him. He will always get back to you right away.
In terms of cost, I think he is right in the middle--not expensive and not inexpensive for contractors in the Bay Area.
Ken has helped me with many small problems that have arisen over the decades (painting my house, leaking roof; leaking at bathroom window; flooding occurring at my exterior bedroom door; etc.), and he always comes by to give me his time and advice and to hook me up with reliable people who can help me at the lowest cost.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful Ken is to work with.
They did a great job on my balcony deck! I watch sunsets from it several nights a week. The cable rails really help me take in the view.

My experience here has been great so far (6 months in!). The instructors are very down to earth, knowledgeable, entertaining and overall good at what they do. Every instructors characteristics and teaching style compliments the experience so well. My advice to anyone thinking about signing up is too just go for it! And when you're there, keep showing up for yourself. Ask questions wherever you may lose your footing. Speak up! For yourself. This school will set you up for success. It won't be easy. It will be fun. Just do it
