9848 Jersey Ave, Santa Fe Springs“New breed is a great place to train, they were welcoming from day one it felt like family. The professors are there for you on and off the mats. There's a community among the staff and students. I now have been training for a little over a year now. I am grateful for the influence BJJ has put into my life at work, personal and even among peers. BJJ is a journey, it grows on you, it makes those long days feel easier. To me, my biggest gain is that I am less stressed with life, because I now have an outlet, that I enjoy very much. I navigate problems with more ease and critical thinking. Stop by and take that jump on those mats and have your own experience/journey. Osss!“
6 - 8PM
4501 E Carson St #205, Long Beach“"Without reservation, I recommend West Coast Wing Chun. It has been a crucible for my healing, a pathway to reclaiming myself after the ravages of military service. I returned from duty deeply fractured, my spirit and body bearing the scars of a training that prioritized survival through destruction. I was a vessel of pain, inflicting it on my family, on others, and most tragically, on myself. It was the unwavering support of my family, coupled with the profound teachings of West Coast Wing Chun, that offered me a lifeline. Sifu Bryant Talbot, with his patient guidance, unveiled the inner strength I had long suppressed. He illuminated the power inherent in the Wing Chun lineage, a legacy passed down from Grandmaster Ip Man—a legacy that proves anything is possible when you cultivate belief within. When I gaze upon the lineage displayed in our school, I see more than just the iconic connection between Ip Man and Bruce Lee, who, despite his early departure, returned to capture a final glimpse of the master's wisdom. I see a living testament to resilience, a continuum that includes Grandmasters Ip Chun and the late Ip Ching, and the enduring spirit of Ip Man's daughters. To embrace West Coast Wing Chun is to join this lineage, to partake in a transformative journey that transcends martial art, becoming a profound act of self-discovery. (Rest in Peace, Grandmaster Ip Ching.)"“

5118 E Imperial Hwy, Lynwood“Aguilar's combat concepts it's a great way to learned a mixed martial arts, because the price is so low compared to other places (and they only teach you box), the people that you will train with are very respectful and they make you fill comfortable, everybody gets along and trust me you will not have any trouble with the others, you will learned new thing, they also speak SPANISH so it doesn't matter if you speak only English or Spanish you will still learned a lot of great thing, they also have kid training, all of his classes are great you will not regret it. Come check us out.“
“I have found Richard's Tai Chi class to be excellent physical exercise and a fun activity that I can do with my husband. Richard is a great instructor and accommodates all ranges of physical ability. I am in pretty good physical condition due to years of ballet training. I had surgery earlier this year and hoped that Tai Chi would be beneficial in my recovery. To my delight, Richard modified the forms so that I could learn them easily despite having limited range of motion. I had planned to go back to my barre classes after I was fully healed. Regrettably, my barre studio closed due to the pandemic, but I am so happy with Tai Chi that I want to continue to learn and grow in my Tai Chi practice.“

“I own a business in the same shopping center as this place. Tonight, one of my staff ran inside their studio because a couple of guys were catcalling and being sketchy while she was trying to lock up. Two of their staff dropped what they were doing and escorted her over to lock up and get to her car safely. It's one thing to train martial arts, and it's another to be willing to actually use it to defend someone. 5 stars in my book. Thanks guys!“
