We ordered two EPIC hot lobster rolls (Connecticut style, warm with butter) and although they were delicious, for the EPIC PRICE OF $39 PER ROLL, it was very skimpy compared to what you get for that price in New England. They stack it high in the middle and don’t fill the bun to the ends to make it look super full. It’s not. The New England clam chowder was great though.“

“Steve and his crew are a genuine group of people who work hard, do great work, and enjoy what they do! Not to mention they felt grateful for the work. Renovated my 1940's bathroom, taking it down to the studs, and turned it into exactly what we wanted. He also made improvements to our master bathroom. I called 22 different companies in San Diego before choosing a contractor and from the start, I knew we were going to pick him. He was definitely top 3 most affordable. With his smaller company and no marketing side, you save so much overhead cost. His dad was a contractor, passing down a wealth of knowledge to go along with Steve's already lengthy career. His wife used to work in HR so even our unofficial estimated bid was incredibly detailed. Everything itemized and you knew where your money was going. You didn't just get this huge amount. Then in the actual contract, he includes a payment schedule. They use an electronic invoice service as well, making it easy to keep track of what you've paid. All laid out and professional. With someone being in your home for an extended period of time, it was important that we get someone we would be comfortable around our kids. He was great all around, great to talk to (that's how I know details of his family lol) and my kids are actually going to miss him and his crew haha. He's a tall guy but as nice and jolly as can be! Of course with any renovations, things can't be guaranteed because who knows what's behind the wall or under the floor. But he did the best hecould to work with us when any unexpected cost came up. Financially fair in my opinion. We'll be using him again when we've saved up for our kitchen!“
