“Alex and Eric were great to work with on our remodel (knocked out two walls, new kitchen, laundry room and revamped the dining, family and living rooms and raised some ceilings). They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive but the quality of work they completed was undeniably terrific! Alex has a wealth of construction knowledge and always provided cost effective alternatives for issues that in the end always turned out better than what I was expecting. Alex and his crew paid attention to details throughout the construction process and always strived to make me happy with their work products. They stayed on budget (minus change orders based on my upgrades) and would have stayed on schedule if not for some overlooked structural issues that my engineer had to work through with the city to approve the permit amendment. Eric was easy to work with through the contract process answering my questions promptly. The only minor complaint I have is some of their workers start work at 9am so they sometimes stay until 7pm+. Since I'm retired it wasn't an issue and allowed the workers to completely finish a certain phase of the work by the end of the day. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of work Vostok completed at my house and would highly recommend them.“

“We hired 3 Generations to install Hardie siding for our home, replacing the existing shake shingles that had been on the home since it was built in 1948. Kurt, Jeremy, and Vlad made the entire process easy from start to finish. Old houses often present unexpected challenges and ours was no exception. The 3 Gen crew skillfully addressed each one, paying particular attention to window casings, soffits, facia, light fixtures, and attic vents. This attention to detail, combined with the high quality of the Hardie materials resulted in a phenomenal upgrade to the entire presentation of the house. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. “We used West Standard to install Hardie plank shingle siding on our house along with a new front door and 5 windows. They were great to work with. They gave us a very reasonable bid and were readily available. They were courteous and went above and beyond, even doing extras like taking down and hauling away an old rooftop antenna since they were going to the dump anyway. They are eager to please and do careful work. Serge was a great foreman and Yaro was very responsive and nice. Max came back to finish up and was great as well. “I used Good Life Construction to remodel my mother-in-law's bathroom. We needed to convert a tub shower combo to a walk-in-shower. We needed a small lip and wanted the shower to be widened. Our goal was to get this done within the next month and at a low cost so that she could continue to care for herself since she is in her 80's and was no longer able to get in the tub easily. We took several bids but Good Life Co Rep (Serge) came out and seemed to listen to what we wanted and needed. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Their bid was competitive and one of the cheaper ones but I felt like I was going to be taken care of by a good team. Serge and the admin team were very communicative by email and we scheduled the work in a timely manner. The work took 3 days and was exactly what we needed. The crews were clean and nice. The put the grab bars exactly as we specified and wanted the adjustable shower head for later when we have to add a shower chair. Overall, a great experience at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to my friends. I've attached a before and after pic. The after shows the quality work done prior to putting up the shower curtain.“

“We just got our new roof installed and I love it. It's not only that the roof itself is more energy efficient but they added low profile vents and created good airflow and things our old house just didn't have. I also appreciate that they did the work very fast and had good communication with us from beginning to end. It was a lot of money, but we got more than one quote and since theirs was just about the same as the others, but I felt like it was a better value and company, we went with them and I'm glad we did. Note that the roofing colors look different in the samples vs in the sunlight so be sure to look at online pictures of completed houses. We went with a darker color that actually looks pretty light in the sun. I'm glad they explained that to us.“
