GVD recently installed Hardy Plank siding on our entire home. It was a large, complicated job and they were absolute pros! It was a pleasure working with them. Not only were they professional and efficient, they were also very cost competitive. Our house looks great and we have neighbors and passer bys commenting all the time. Their contract and paperwork explained all the things that were covered and all the things they would check for including an allotment for a given square foot of dry rot repairs. Based on all that and their excellent reviews, we went with them. I am happy to report that there were no surprise expenses. The crew that came out was so nice and respectful. They work FAST! Every time I peeked out the window an entire section was done. I also really appreciate the care they took in doing the caulking and painting, as well as hiding as many wires as possible. GVD replaced our siding and several windows in Nov/Dec 2022. It turned out fantastic, and we were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone on site and that we communicated with. Estimates and contracts were clear and accurate, calls and emails were responded to quickly, and work was completed on schedule. It's always a little nerve-wracking undertaking an expensive project, but we are so happy with how it turned out and how beautifully finished it was.
