“I do not have loved ones buried here, but wanted to explore this cemetery as it was established in 1862. It's appeared well maintained and I did not notice any litter or trash strewn about as other reviews state. There are very large old trees and many benches in honor of those deceased located throughout so that you can rest and reflect. The older part of the cemetery with headstones dating back to the mid 1800s is located to the left as you enter. That part of the cemetery is well worth walking through and exploring the old family plots and veterans who lay there. The other part of the cemetery, which is newer is also quite lovely. What we immediately noticed was how colorful and personal the cemetery was. Yes, many of the headstones are decorated in colorful artificial flowers, but I found it quite beautiful as I turned the corner and saw all this lovely color amongst all the headstones. This is part of the culture of the families that visit. It appeared to be primarily families of Eastern European descent. There were quite a few people visiting and cleaning gravesites of loved ones. It was nice to see quite a few people visiting. This is not a large cemetery as it was established well over 100 years ago. I enjoy exploring cemeteries and find them to be peaceful places.“

“We are deeply grateful to Mario for the extraordinary care and compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times in our lives. From the moment we began planning our father’s funeral service, Mario went above and beyond—not just to meet our needs, but to truly honor our dad’s memory. His thoughtful guidance, attention to detail, and unwavering support made all the difference.

What touched us most was his offer of an eternal place at the cemetery to keep our father’s urn—a gesture that gave us comfort and peace, knowing Dad has a dignified and lasting resting place. Mario’s kindness and professionalism were a gift to our family, and we will never forget the way he helped us navigate this moment with grace and care.

Thank you, Mario, for everything.
