“Dr. Basilious is a literal lifesaver!! I brought my sweet energetic 1 year old kitty here after she suddenly started refusing food and water and became lethargic. My old vet dismissed my concerns after the world’s briefest evaluation, so I decided to try Bastet Cat Hospital to get a second opinion. After a much more thorough examination, Dr Basilious found that her bladder was TWICE the size it should be! He drained her bladder and put her on a special diet and antibiotics, and I’m so thrilled to say that she’s back to her playful self! Everyone in the office is so kind and knowledgeable, and they even worked with me to keep the cost down. I’m happy to switch my 3 kitties to this clinic and give them my business, they deserve it. “I was really happy with their service and flexibility. I went in after walking out of my regular vet because the bill was too high and they would not give me any alternative options. After paying crazy amounts in vet bills for various situations in the past few months I was starting to feel financially manipulated by vets so I shopped around a bit and echo park gave me a rough estimate over the phone and was very flexible in person. “I have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!“

“Dr. Chung is a very warm-hearted, bright-aura, confident and reliable female doctor. I don't like lazy doctors, but she is quick to deal with problems and make decisions. She speaks English, Japanese and Korean fluently, which really helped me out when I was panicking at other hospitals. The room temperature was just right. My baby was wrapped in warm cloths and pillows and was able to be hospitalized in a very good environment. There are many cold places in the hospital, like a refrigerator, and my cat gets cold easily, so I was very relieved. I met the receptionist and other doctors, and everyone was kind. I will continue to come here.Thank you so much.“

“We recommend this place completely! Dr. Ancu and the team at Big Tujunga Vet Hospital came to our kitty's rescue when he needed it most. When our kitty, Conway, got sick and stopped eating, they got him in right away and quickly diagnosed the issue (he was in a diabetic ketoacidosis state as he had undiagnosed, sudden onset of diabetes). Along with a host of other issues, our kitty had a grim outlook. Dr. Ancu provided us with so much helpful information to make the best decision for our sweet Conway, and we decided to move forward with treatment.

After 3 days of care in the vet hospital, Dr. Ancu and team stabilized Conway, he started eating, and we were able to bring him home. While it has been a road to recovery, we're now 2.5 months post emergency and the continued care from the whole team has been so impressive! We appreciate how thoughtful, thorough and caring everyone is, and we feel like we have a fully supportive team behind Conway's recovery.

“Excellent dr. SUMAN ?Never met anyone like him . He does a complete check up on my cat when most other vets are afraid to open up my cats mouth because he is not a nice kittie?. “My pets have been with Parkview for a few years. When I called the office they were able to see my cat right away. Dr. Chu is experienced and was able diagnose what was wrong with Max and prescribe the medication needed. Two things I may suggest the texting the check in process is impersonal and problematic for a not tech savy user. Another observation when I called the office two-two and half weeks ago about my cat’s condition they said they did not see emergency cases. More than likely his condition was a start of what I brought him for this week to be treated for. Being consistent and having a policy of seeing cat first then refer services if needed is what I would recommend.“

“Today was my pup's first visit to Dr. Johnson to address a digestive issue which has stumped my usual vet for months.

On-site parking was plentiful. I was immediately impressed with the staff -- they took the time to ask a lot of questions about the reason for our visit and what had been going on with the dog. They really listened and offered a lot of valuable information before we even saw Dr. Johnson.

Dr Johnson took us exactly on time and was a breath of fresh air. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable, which have me a lot of confidence. Also, I never felt rushed. She took plenty of time to listen to the entire history and talk through what seems to be a very sensible and practical treatment plan.

These days, most vets (not to mention doctors) make you feel like just another number on their endless conveyor belt. That was definitely not my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff. They listened carefully, made me feel heard and took the time to make sure I understood everything they said. In my opinion, that is a level of professionalism and care very rarely seen these days!“

“I was very impressed by how calm all the dogs were that were there for appointments. Not one dog seemed fearful or nervous. I haver never seen that at any vet before. My dog had no idea she was at the vet the whole time.
Been looking for a holistic Vet that would work to treat the cause and not just the symptoms.
