North Figueroa Animal Hospital offers affordable services, including super cheap spay/neuter options. While some customers may experience longer wait times, the hospital provides great care for pets. Customers have reported waiting for up to an hour before being called in, often needing to arrive early to secure a spot as they only take the first 50 clients in the morning. Despite the wait, many find the staff to be friendly and attentive. Some reviewers mention that they were pleasantly surprised by the efficient service, especially when getting their pets spayed. While a few prefer other veterinary clinics for faster service, North Figueroa Animal Hospital remains a solid choice for those looking for affordable care.
Brought in two dogs in for a spay and neuter. I asked Dr Vasquez if the incision was going to be large on my female because my dog had gained weight and was pretty rotund and I was worried that she would have a ten inch incision like my last dog. Quite a long wait, but was still definitely worth it, and our dog got a little training on how to wait around other animals. The doctor here is great and you can tell the staff just wants to make sure you feel heard and seen regarding your pets issues. They are also hustling, like it was a lot of people, but they were getting through everyone for sure. The pricing wasn’t too bad either and they take city vouchers. Definitely more affordable than VCA if you’re wondering and it felt like we were taking home everything we really needed for our dog.

Dr Vasquez and his staff are exceptional. They went above and beyond, caring for Nala (beagle -lab) for an eye infection. Dr Vasquez is highly informed, efficient, offering the utmost professionalism. Since Dr Vasquez offers his services for low income. There is a 3 to 4 hour wait to be seen. Regardless of financial circumstances, Dr Vasquez is the only vet I trust with the care of my pups. He is personable and generous. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience Xo
