Thanks to his help, we have knobs that are newly greased, burners that actually work and an oven door that closes the way it is supposed to. “We have had 2 great experiences with Stan & his crew. First our LG oven had a flakey temperature sensor that didn't allow the oven to heat reliably. He and his team fixed that in short order. Then recently we had an issue with our Electrolux dryer "heat outlet" needing to be replaced in the back of the dryer drum. He and his team disassembled the dryer, replaced the part, and had it all working again in a matter of a couple of hours. I will definitely be keeping Smart Solution Appliance's info to help keep my appliances in good working order, and out of the dump! Thank you Stan & Will! “There are two appliance repair companies in San Francisco that have 35+ years of experience. I called the first one and after 10 rings with no answer, I called Allstate. After 2 rings, I got a person on the line and booked 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm window on the same day. Dimitri arrived at 12:00 noon, looked at the dryer and asked a few questions. He said he knew what was wrong, could fix it and gave a quote. He came across as trustworthy and as someone who knows what he's doing. This is very important to first time customers. “I’ve had Master Appliance come out to my place twice now: once for a broken laundry machine and the other for a leaking fridge.
The laundry machine broke down after less than 5 years because of a failed controller board. They actually recommended that I just buy a new unit, since replacing the board would cost nearly as much as a new machine and there was no guarantee I wouldn't have more issues down the road. They even recommended a different brand that would last longer, noting that the one I had is known for ongoing quality issues. They didn't even charge me for the visit.
The fridge turned out to be a simple fix: just a clogged condenser drainage. There were no new parts needed.

“The motherboard on my Kitchen Aid gas stove/oven went out. All State was recommended by the manufacturer so I called them. That was on a Wednesday, and Daniel their tech was at my house on Friday to assess. The motherboard was fried, so a new one had to be ordered. Daniel, ordered the part, it came in within 4 days and he offered to install it on 4th of July - I declined that day and he came on the 7th and had the stove operational in about 45 minutes. Expensive repair, but the service level was great. Quick response time, good communication and Daniel arrived at the times he told me he would. All my appliances are KitchenAid, and fairly young in appliance terms, less than 10 years, so if I have any other issues I will call all State Appliance Repair again. “I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump“
