Slava at Star Appliances worked with our Bluestar Stove and a Zephr Hood when we lived in San Francisco. Having moved across the bay to Berkeley 4 years ago, when I called him up for advice on an issue we are having with our Bluestar oven dial and the themostat rod, he took the time to describe possible issues, then looked at and commented on what he saw in a couple of photos and a video. He doesn't typically work in the East Bay, but he took time on the phone to coach us through what we are dealing with. A really reliable, helpful person who's a good communicator. Wonderful experience. Super friendly and responsive. Came out to diagnose a leaky washer and also made time to repair our oven that had been heating unreliably. Clearly takes a lot of pride in providing quality, professional service.Services: Washing machine repair
