“Working with Kendall and his team from Exclusively Roofing was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a contractor. Our house needed a new roof and we wanted to make sure we got it done before the rainy season. We got quotes from five companies and not only was the quote process with Kendall pretty painless, his quote was better for a comparable statement of work. Kendall was no pressure, just explained what needed done, the options they offered, how the quote was calculated, what the quote did and did not cover, and left it in our hands. We talked about timing and he was able to get his crew on us within a week. After reviewing all the quotes we selected Exclusively Roofing and work started. I saw Kendall daily and got updates on what was done and what the plans were for the next day. He was very responsive to texts and calls throughout the job (I admit to being a worrier). Tear off was quick and the team did such a good job picking up the yard appeared cleaner than when they started. The build crew was on time every day and was attentive to our property during the entire process. Each morning I was asked by the crew “If there is anything we can do to make this better for you just let us know”. At the end of each day they did a yard clean up, stored their tools, and left the property in as good a shape as they found it. The work finished on time and they did a last check of the roof and property and a final extensive clean up. Kendall did a final review with us, reminded us of the nice warranties we had and that we had his phone number if anything came up. “Thought I reviewed this company already! I guess not, and only realized because my father asked me if I was satisfied with my solar install and didn't recall them having so few Google reviews! I guess I'm part of the problem!

Anyway, I had been shopping for solar for YEARS. It seemed every quote I got was just SO insanely padded with commissions and I dont know what all, that I could never bring myself to pull the trigger. Granted, the actual cost of solar also did go down in that five year span, but the most recent quotes I got (besides national chains like Mona Lee, Project Solar, and Tesla) were much higher. Those other companies were still higher, just not a whole lot higher. But Tesla's equipment is mediocre, with the old centralized inverter tech with no optimizers, etc. and the other two had a very impersonal, dispersed feel. They had their sales, who claimed to know what they were talking about, then they had their engineers, then their installers... and their message was rarely unified.
With Family First, though I did talk to probably three different employees over the course of the whole span, I mostly just spoke to Anthony who was very well versed in everything related to the project. When I did have to speak to others, the message remained consistent, or they checked in with Anthony himself.
Everything went smoothly. They listened to my input and got me the system I was looking for at a great price.
The only thing I can't comment on is their devotion to making things right if there was an issue or warranty claim... as, to date (about two years post install) I've never had an issue.
I'm kind of a Google reviews nerd, so if I have any updates, you can count on hearing about them here in the future.“

“Milholland Electric is back to the superb company they once were. Milholland originally installed my solar system and power wall. Sun Power required that they (Sun Power) would have to remove/re-install their panels to insure their warranty. They removed my panels in early July for me to install a new roof. To complete my roofing job the panels had to be re-installed before the roof could be completed. Sun Power declared bankruptcy and left me with solar panels in my garage and my roof unfinished. I contacted Milholland and they have now re-installed my panels. Chad the supervisor and his helper Dave were amazing, were responsive, super easy to work with, provided a timely response and were very professional. In addition, their price was very fair. Also, Benjamin made sure our solar system and power wall were working perfectly. They were an amazing team for which I can only express my extreme gratitude. Hooray for Milholland Electric!!!!!“
