Thank goodness for same day appointments! My dog woke with a suspected ear infection and SBVH got me in the same day. Friendly staff, practically zero wait time and the nurse (Anthony) was such a great ambassador of the quality care we received. Our vet was fantastic. Also, they have parking behind the building which is noteworthy on Broadway. Overall, great experience considering a double ear infection diagnosis.
That place is GREAT. 100% of the staff are ROCK STARS! My cat Indigo, who survived a double coyote attack 2 years ago, was treated like a celebrity. She had a minor surgical procedure, and was in and out in less than 3 hours. The Doctor called me with an update as soon as the procedure was completed. Since cats hate protective cones, they fit her with an infant's t-shirt to keep her away from the stitches while they heal. Nobody likes vet bills, obviously. Price was reasonable and fair. I use them for all my pets.
South Bay Veterinary Hospital in Chula Vista is great. The staff was kind and got my cat and me into an exam room right away. My cat isn't very social, and both the nurse and Dr. Coty were very patient and careful not to startle her.
Dr. Coty's diagnosis was quick and right on point, and we were in and out in about an hour. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend South Bay Veterinary Hospital.
