I see Dr. Daly on the regular. I have c-spine fusion and lower back degeneration. When I get out of whack he puts me back together again.
One of the things I hate the most with barbers is that it take more than an hour to get a haircut. With Belmont classic barbershop not only that I got a very good haircut. It was only in 35 minutes and as a busy person, it helps a lot to manage my day. Definitely will come again

After I filled out a thorough medical history, she carefully read and affirmed even more specific details to help her treat my pain. He was able to show me all options then get me a quote same day. I was able to get my needs met with a great price. The experience felt authentic and caring instead of a typical buy this now sale. TJ knows what he's doing and has great follow up, give him a call!
My whole family has been going to Bay Area Martial Arts Academy for several years now and I have to say they are wonderful. So this review is definitely long overdue. Both my daughters have gained so much strength and discipline from the instructor (Mr Agoff). I love the life lessons he instills in them as well. The kids learn self defense, how to fall properly, stick work, different fighting forms, and the importance of training and hard work. They also work on strength and stamina and the belts are earned and not just given. Definitely lucky that we have this local gem so close to home. Also nice that my husband goes there too so the three of them can train together.
Dr. Kagan did a wonderful job fitting me for new contact lenses. She's very methodical and patient so we quickly homed in on the correct fit. As a bonus, she is a warm and friendly person which made the entire experience comfortable and fun.

My daughter has been doing jazz since she was 3 years old here and she loves it. All the teachers make the class fun and she met a lot of nice kids. She did the performance in June when she was 4 and it was so good. I highly recommend this dance place!
I was a bit intimidated with weightlifting when I started at Gym Class Rocks years ago, but it was the perfect place to get started. Not only was the owner of the gym, Shannon, very accommodating in teaching me the exercises and helping me adjust the workout to my specific needs, but the entire community of women was as well. Once I started getting stronger and was ready to increase my weights, I could look to this wonderful community of strong women for inspiration and advice on form, weights, and life. And, perhaps most important for me, whenever I skip several weeks due to life getting in the way, I am always welcomed back by Shannon and the community as if I hadn’t been gone at all.
Allan's team did a fantastic job installing their lightweight Slate 2 system. After 2 years it still looks great, and I expect it to last another 50. They really showed high level craftsmanship in all their custom fitted copper installations, including large rounded roof and dormer sections, oversized flashings, along with gutters and downspouts of course. They were open to specific design discussion and requests, and they always delivered on their promises - including finishing at the cost and timing they estimated.
I have been very pleased with Eye Catchers because of the people who work there; they are very friendly and are extremely helpful and want you to be happy with your choice of frames and the prescription is just perfect.

Kent did an amazing job on my color and cut! My brunette hair color had turned orange plus I had grays growing out. He was able to get rid of all the warm tones and added highlights to help blend in grays once they grew out. I’m so happy I found Kent for my hair needs.
I met Shy randomly while I was walking to a muffler shop near Hansol Barber Shop. I booked an appointment and am beyond happy. I brought my girlfriend with me who is a little disabled and right off the bat Shy sat my girlfriend down in a barber chair to get her comfortable and brought over a little desk so my girlfriend could sit her bag and water. She offered her tea. Shy then showed me to my hair and asked how I wanted my haircut. She took her time and went little by little to make sure I was happy with the length. She was very knowledgeable,friendly, and a master with the clippers and scissors as well as detailed as she shaved some longer eyebrows and checked the nose hairs. After the cut Shy walked me to the sink for shampoo and conditioning. The hot towel and face massage was so relaxing. I knew instantly that I found my new barber. The shop was clean and the customer service was far beyond words could describe. The extra steps even as small as they can see make such a huge difference. The way Shy even assisted my girlfriend speaks so much about her amazing personality and care for the customers. I will definitely be a regular at Hansol Barber Shop. Thank you Shy.

This is a family-owned hair salon. The family is so kind and genuinely friendly, and they made my son feel comfortable from the start. Making an appointment was a breeze, and the haircut was done efficiently and without any fuss. The prices are also very reasonable. We had a positive experience and will absolutely come back. I've been going to Chuck for haircuts for over a year now and it's always a great experience. Chuck has good availability, he always does a good job, and he's a super nice guy who is fun to talk to. Overall, I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with Chuck at the Bushwhacker Shack!

I normally don’t write reviews, but after reading the recent 1-star post, I felt I needed to share what I personally witnessed during that exact appointment. I was in the salon at the same time, and the description in that review does not match what happened.
The nail technician and owner showed nothing but patience, professionalism, and kindness. At no point did they “blame” the customer. The client had chosen regular polish, which naturally takes time to fully dry, but repeatedly pressed on her nails before they were set—causing the dents herself—while insisting she had to leave for work. The staff even went so far as to offer to walk her to her car to prevent smudging them further.
I’ve been coming to Mary for 4 months, and she always spends the extra time to get the shape and finish exactly how I like them. Her work is meticulous, and I leave happy every time. So we have had pedicures by the two men and they were very rough and caused us pain. This time we called ahead. Stated explicitly three or more times during the phone call that we would like the women to do our pedicures and explained why. Then I asked what time the two women had appts available. They told us 3pm. We arrived 2:45. All chairs were full. Which is fine. 3:15 we were invited to sit and soak. The water burned both our feet and they seemed shocked. Then they had a man (the rougher of the two) sit down to do my. Mom's pedicure. I immediately stopped him from starting. The lady tried to tell me I did not ask for the women when I called. This is absolutely untrue. She tried to tell this again and she said there were no notes to that affect on the calendar. I told her she didn't remember to write it down. Wondering if it is time to look elsewhere. Or only book online where apparently we can choose the person. Edit to four stars from one star We finally got the two ladies and a very nice pedicure.
This is the best Russian pedicure nail salon in the San Francisco bay area. The attention to detail is unmatched compared to other places. They also seem to use high-quality and clean tools. It is by appointment only so no walk ins but it's worth the wait. For a Russian-style manicure/pedicure this is top notch

This a long overdue review for my nail tech Trina. She is one of my best kept secrets, by far the best nail tech I’ve ever encountered. She has high attention to detail, a perfectionist, EFFICIENT, and a great person to talk to. My nails are literally always perfect, never lumpy, great retention, always finishes in an hour, and great prices. Sadly I’m moving and fear I will not find someone as good as her.
I have been going to Karla for about 3 years now and she has always worked her hair magic! She’s super easy to talk to and always delivers far beyond what you ask for!

I went for my eyebrows and upper lip threading today (8/21/25). Poojah helped me, she's so accommodating and sweet. Took me even without a prior appointment. Not only is the ambience great, but the moment I walked in I was tended to. Every person that worked there was kind and gracious. When I explained I was going to a wedding and what color I wanted they suggest an ombre to soften the look and they were right. I felt like a valued guest and the prices were very fair compared to other spots. I highly recommend Eros as the place to go.

SHORT STORY:
Morningstar Tattoo far exceeded my expectations in every way; their facility is comfortable, clean, and professional. My Tattooist, Jordi Simmons, did an amazing job throughout the whole design and application process. You will not be disappointed with Morningstar!
MY AWESOME EXPERIENCE WITH MORNINGSTAE TATTOO PARLOR:
I never thought I would ever be a “Tattoo Guy.” However, after my daughter suddenly passed away at age 30 in 2022, I wanted to have something that keeps her spirit with me and will always be with me wherever I go and whatever I do. After about a year of introspection, I decided that a memorial tattoo for my daughter would be highly appropriate for me. After much research on local Tattoo shops, I decided to work with Morningstar Tattoo Parlor.
When I first visited Morningstar, I was amazed that this parlor was not like tattoo parlors as portrayed in the media. Morningstar occupies a spacious, clean, comfortable, and professional series of suites on the second and third floors of their building. They are by appointment only, original artwork only, and they have several policies that strike me as highly professional.
When I reached out to Morningstar, Jordi Simmons returned my call, and after a brief conversation, I felt comfortable proceeding with Jordi as my tattooist.
My whole experience with Jordi, given her professionalism, creativity, artistry, and skill was outstanding! Jordi and I initially met for about 2 hours, and she really took the time to understand why I wanted this tattoo, what my what my daughter was like in life (the good and the bad), my spiritual beliefs regarding life, sentience and death, and other topics personally relevant and meaningful to me. Jordi also clearly described what she could and could not do with tattoo designs, such as font sizes, resolution, and other things to consider with the design. I gave Jordi some initial concepts of what might work for a design concept as a starting point.
Over the next 4 months Jordi and I periodically corresponded via email about design concepts to be considered. When I arrived on the day we had scheduled for the tattoo to be applied, we hadn’t yet settled on a final design, and Jordi presented the latest design she developed for me.
I was absolutely blown away at the design she created!
The design is way beyond anything I had thought possible. The image Jordi created for me captures an amazing amount symbolism about what my daughter was like in life, my spiritual beliefs regarding life and death, and other aspects of my daughter’s short life. The images, and even the relative placement of numbers, text, and images carries deep symbolism and meaning for me. Jordi quickly incorporated some very small changes to the design based on my feedback, and then it was time to apply the tattoo.
The initial application was a 3-hour sitting at Jordi’s station, toward the end of which, my skin was getting irritated enough that Jordi advised that we should stop, because continuing the application that day could compromise the quality of the final tattoo. Because of this, we ended our session for the day and scheduled a second sitting 3 weeks later.
During the interim time between the first and second application, I researched Tattoo best practices for design and application. This helped me really understand in detail that Jordi had carefully planned of the tattoo’s overall size, orientation, and placement that otherwise I would not have noticed. Everything Jordi did was according to the best practices I researched; Jordi planned for a tattoo that will displays and ages well.
We finished the tattoo during our second sitting of about an hour and a half and I am beyond h
They did a good job, it came out clean. I just walked in on a saturday evening.

We very, very highly recommend Mark Lavine at UH Improvement. He is a professional who delivered for us top, top quality work and in an efficient manner. While we hope we won't have the need, if so at another property, we would hire Mark again in a second if ever we were faced with a flooding, drainage or related issue. We live on a slight hill and our garage flooded the past 4-5+ years. It was horrible. (See photos) It had been getting worse each year. At first we tried fixing on our own by making some drainage improvements. That did not work. The next year we hired a general contractor but, as we later realized, he did not have the expertise in this specific area. He did install some new drainage and waterproofing, etc., but his "solution" was really no solution at all. Sadly, the flooding in our garage persisted just as before. After that experience we realized that our drainage and flooding issue needed a true pro with this specific experience and expertise. Therefore, the following year we interviewed several contractors who "said" they were experts at drainage and flooding issues. Mark stood-out amongst the group when we met him. His many years of experience, and specifically working on properties with drainage and flooding issues, allowed him to have a more clear vision than any other contractor for a solution to our problem. We scheduled the work for summer 2023. Mark and team were in/out in less than two weeks, just as he said, and his team was very professional, hard working, and courteous. While we never doubted Mark and his team, we felt it was more honest to wait and write this review after the 2023/2024 rainy season. It's now mid-March 2024 and we've had many, many big rainy days and nights that, in the past, would absolutely have flooded our garage and had my wife and would be down there sweeping out the water. This winter: WE HAVE NOT HAD ONE DROP OF WATER flood into our garage! The drainage has worked perfectly. The work Mark did has worked perfectly and we could not be happier. We are soooooo glad that we met and hired Mark and UH Improvements..... Thank you Mark and the team at UH Improvements ! We are forever grateful. -Steven & Kim

After contacting EBATC, I was able to get an inspection set up quickly even during the busy holiday season. Derick B showed up on time and respectfully wore shoe covers. He thoroughly inspected not just the affected area but the entire perimeter to be able to give an assessment. He walked us through his treatment proposal and the estimate. It was evident that he was knowledgeable and he followed up with the written quote afterwards.
They came and basically said there's nothing for them to do. 5 stars for being so honest.
Juan is the dental Hygienist, I see him religiously 2X a year. He does a great job and is very good at his job and courteous. Sasha is the office manager and works diligently to get the insurance matters taken care of. I just love the staff and Dr. Ben. Finally a dentist in the Bay area you can trust!
Have been going here since I moved to the bay area. Speaking with friends, this is one of the most affordable copays, no nonsense places. Some doctors and people may not be to your liking so you can change. Today my hygienist was Joyce and she went above and beyond, taking time to ask questions, give good advice and make sure all teeth are properly taken care of! Thank you Joyce!

I have been coming to this location since 2003. A few years ago the regular Dr. Dave decided to retire. He knew his patients count on Chiropractic Care so he searched for a replacement. Well he found one and he sure is exceptional. His name is Dr. Nicholas Saviano. Not only does he crack me up()he also offers Stem Wave, which helped for the pain that I had in my foot. I also am pleased that the staff is still the same, other than the new Doc.
I've been seeing Dr Sepulveda for a few years now. Her care and precision when working with me has been a huge blessing to help rehab many of my legacy injuries that have impacted my current spine and posture - as well as other ailments. I'm confident that her CBP approach can help anyone in need so I encourage everyone to reach out to her to improve your wellness and overall health.
Dr. Luu is excellent. Well knowledged, compassionate, professional and friendly. I appreciate the fact he doesn't try to push over scheduling chiropractic visits, as do many other local general chiropractors. I'm seeing improvement in my back pain in just one week. I am very satisfied with Dr. Luu's services and treatment modalities. Highly recommend!
Dr Mark Daly is amazing - I went from intense back pain to a pain-free life and newfound flexibility / range of motion. He's amazing at identifying issues, figuring out the root cause of what's wrong, and getting it fixed for good.
I see him regularly to keep everything in top shape, and to address random things that inevitably pop up. I really enjoy his ability to explain the anatomical connections that underpin the work he does, as well as his positive outlook on life in general.
My only regret is not finding Dr Mark sooner!
I have been going to Dr. Nick for the last two months and have already seen transformative changes in my posture, reduction in pain, and much more mobility. Dr. Crain has been a great find on the Mid Peninsula in Belmont. I've been going to chiropractors since my teens and know the good from the bad. Dr. Crain excels in his adjustment technique and knowledge of chiropractic medicine. Never too busy to fit in a same day appointment which works in my schedule perfectly. Insurance accepted : )I highly recommend giving him a call and trying him out today!

Love Healthy Pelvis! Super clean and welcoming vibes. Tanya herself is so personable - she makes you feel incredibly comfortable. She has so many tips and tricks! I’ve been to quite a few PT’s and i’d put Tanya and her group at the top for the area. The expertise level, the chill vibe while “getting the work done”… the list of positives goes on. The only downside is getting your perfect appointment time or day… they can get booked up. Pro tip they have a cancellation list that moves pretty quickly so there’s a good chance of seeing your PT from that if you have scheduling issues. A++ for Tanya and the whole staff at Healthy Pelvis!

Best of the best - I was seen by a number of top medical professionals in the bay area for a serious injury. The issues I had been struggling with that my doctors at Stanford could not provide solutions to, Vincent resolved with just 1-2 visits, without a surgery or prescription or another medical exam. That gave me hope during a challenging time of my life. He is the best TCM doctor - I've tried several other top rated ones in different locations but no one came close to him. Hope he lives long and doesn't retire.
