The little room above lifted was so cute! I did worry about ventilation, but with the window all the way open it wasn't bad. I asked Paige to paint in gel, which is not where her artistic skills really shine (she's more of an acrylic girlie). Nonetheless I love the snakeskin look that came out of trying to do "pool nails" with an almost poisonous looking mint green! such a cool look!

I've seen a few dozen massage therapists in the last ten years due to work injuries and wear and tear (probably over a 100 massage sessions) and I'd say Michelle is among the top three I've seen....the other two being up in Canada. She is friendly and has plenty of advice to point you in healing directions for your body and will definitely make you feel better after. If you are looking for a healing touch, look no further.

Her treatment space is so calming and tranquil and Alexandra always made me feel really safe and taken care of. She has such a calming presence and a tender touch. The peel was very helpful in reducing the appearance of years of scars from skin issues and brought an overall glow to my skin! It was super addicting to see the progress week by week. I’m looking forward to booking another treatment with Alexandra real soon!

An artist with color, she always gives me rich, beautiful color with the naturally balanced high and low lights that I love. Her hair cuts grow out even and flattering so I enjoy compliments on my hair all the time. It’s such an asset to know that my hair will always look its best. The multiple massages I and my partner have each received from Karina Santa Cruz have been truly excellent. I've been worked on by dozens of people with all kinds of skill levels and modalities and locales over twenty+ years (my back has been variously described by professionals as a car wreck and sheet metal with gravel in it) and feel comfortable calling Karina's a special set of magic hands. It's not just her hands, of course, it's her. She comes to the work with the kind of depth and breadth of practice that shows up in surprising and healing ways. She's got power moves! Many skilled therapists kinda do the same thing on every one they meet, which can work out fine, but Karina immediately attuned to what was going on with me and took some chances that released pain in my shoulder that had become crippling in intensity. I remain in her debt. YMMV of course but totally worth going anywhere for talent this good. Thank you Karina! So grateful for you!!

I recently got a tattoo at True Nature, Eva was my artist. She was great, she was very patient with me and enthusiastic about my tattoo and tattooing me. The shop was clean and cozy, I was very comfortable there. This was a novel experience for me, although it was my 5th tattoo, it had been about 30 years since my most recent tattoo! I will get my next tattoo MUCH sooner, Eva will be my artist and True Nature my shop.

Called and we were able to get an appointment for the next day for our 17 year old daughters nose peircing. The shop was open, clean and there are plants everywhere, very fresh feel. I believe our piercer was 'Stabby Abby' if I heard her correctly lol and she was wonderful with our nervous teen! Kept it light hearted and was super quick! Thank you, thank you

Grant responded right away to our emergency call and was over our house in a couple hours, as promised, to assess a wrong wiring of our dishwasher that was sending electricity through our pipes and shocked us at an outside faucet...Fixed the issue, charged $90 for the daytime service call, the dishwasher works like a charm again, and we don't run the risk of getting electrocuted.

I went two days in a row and all the staff from both shifts we incredible, understanding and helpful. Not only did they help but they didn't make me feel stupid and instead educated me. Also my cat has had a sheltered life and does not care for most people, but he actually seemed to enjoy the company of the ladies who helped us. Thank you so much.... He's doing much better.

We have two LaMancha wethers that are very well taken care of by the vets at NCVH. The staff and vets at this hospital have been very responsive and available to help resolve any health issue that comes up for our pack goats Bill and Bob. I recommend this large animal veterinary hospital.
I would just like to say that although the death of a dog is like the death of a human family member I was treated very well and kind by the people at Sunny Brae I had to have my beautiful dog of 21 years put to sleep and they were very compassionate and very sweet with me
I visited Arcata from out of town and attended two different classes at Om Shala. Both were excellent! I signed up and paid for both online. The studio was spacious and peaceful. I hope to come back soon.

I’ve tried chiropractic & massage methods to alleviate pain over the years but Rolfing with Emily has been the best method by far. I really messed up my shoulder climbing to where I had no mobility in my neck and after an hour session, I could rotate my neck in all directions giving me tremendous relief. My shoulder continued to loosen hour by hour after the session giving me long term results. This therapy is relaxing & truly healing making it a magical & worthwhile experience. You won’t regret putting your body & money in her caring hands.
