About The Trim Scene
The Trim Scene is a clean and welcoming salon with a friendly atmosphere. Stylists are known for being kind, attentive, and skilled at understanding clients' visions. Many reviewers, particularly those with curly or thin hair, praise the stylists' ability to deliver excellent haircuts that meet their specific needs. The salon is considered queer/alternative friendly and clients feel respected and understood. Prices are considered good value for the quality of service. Recent visits include a quick taper/fade from Christopher with clean lines and friendly service, a professional and efficient cut from stylist Sara that left clients feeling cooler and refreshed for summer, and consistent satisfaction from Nirvana, who always provides exactly what clients ask for. First-time visitors also had a wonderful experience, with Sebastian delivering a perfect fade and taper, understanding client requests well, and creating a unique, interesting space that adds to the welcoming environment.
Jace is probably the best person I've ever had to cut my hair, If you're a guy in a need of a nice and VERY detailed haircut, this man puts an insane amount of effort and care towards it.
The staff are usually kind, welcoming and professional. I’d recommend scheduling your visit, when scheduling explain what you want and they usually make sure you get someone with experience in the desired style. The prices have gone up, but that seems to be all hair shops these days. I love it seems to be a welcoming environment, none judgmental, LGBTQ+ friendly, and they don’t act weird when I as a woman get a buzzcut or pixie cut.
I feel so lucky to have found Naomi at the trim scene! She has a great sense of current hair styles and balances that with what I want and my hair texture. I go every month and alternate between the men’s short cut and bang trims - she’s really dialing in how I like my hair and nails it every time. As far as I know she’s only in on Mondays, just fyi - but take time off work for her, it’s worth it!
