We had some trees that were overgrown and were potentially hazardous. Tom came out to our property and gave a bid. The price was more than reasonable. He also spent the time to explain ways that we could make the cost lower such as keeping the wood and chips on our property. The crew came out and were professional and cleaned up before leaving. They piled the wood and chips for us and made it easy. I would definitely recommend Coastal Tree Service and will use them again.
I booked a last-minute appointment after a long week and was so glad I did. The massage was exactly what I needed. The therapist focused on the areas where I was holding the most tension and checked in throughout the session. The space was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I left feeling relaxed and slept better that night than I had in weeks. I'll definitely be back.

DMC was highly recommended from a friend of mine. Dan and his crew remodeled my mom's two bedrooms, downstairs floors, and her downstairs bathroom. They also changed out a light in the laundry room. They did a wonderful job and took their time to do an amazing job. I highly recommend Dan and his crew to do anything in your house whether it's in the inside or outside.
I had Diamond Touch Roof Cleaning clean and do some repairs on one of my rentals. They did a fantastic job. The roof had a ton of moss on it and they got it all off and the difference is night and day. They also cleaned the siding and the house looked like a different place. I highly recommend them for roof and siding cleaning and repairs. He was also very accommodating to our schedule and got everything done asap.

Kirby is amazing! The best hairstylist I've ever had the pleasure of going to. She is an amazing person, so kind, and also gives the most amazing haircuts! She always takes the time to listen to exactly what I want and always keeps my lines super straight since half of my head is shaved. Plus someone that can cut my hair and also shave my head is amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Still love them! They’ve consistently done an excellent job grooming Panos. Then their customer service has always been top notch. For instance, our last groom appointment they let us have one of their towels because Panos -in an expression of her displeasure for car rides- had peed all over the towel we had put in her crate (they even bagged the soiled towel for us). We will always recommend them to our friends in Humboldt who need a pet groomer.

Love them! We’ve been taking our long-haired cat to Muddy Paws for years, and they do an amazing job with trimming and hygiene health. Our cat always comes back smelling great, feeling soft, and looking regal. Then the groomers are always very friendly and accommodating! It’s clear they love their job and care about the dogs and cats they groom.
Breanna has done my hair for a few years now and every time whether is was a bang trim, a perm, or a haircut it has always turned out amazing. Always better than I could picture in my head. I saw her today for my first professional haircut in years and it turned out so good and I felt confident walking out of the salon. I will always come back to her!

My husband found Essential Elements Spa online looking for local spa’s. He paid for me to get the “Queen for the day” spa package, which included a sauna session, full body scrub, rain shower, massage and facial. I wear size 12.5 women’s shoes and they had sandals that fit me. I wear xl/xxl so the brown robe and wrap barely fit me, but the white waffle robes fit me comfortably. It was a great experience with both the people working being very charismatic and thoughtful. My skin feels soft and I have never seen the skin on my face look so clear. They succeeded in giving me glass skin, which was a pleasant surprise. If you ever want someone in your life to feel special give them a spa day.
Bob Sutter has been doing our tax prep for many years. He is always very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We recently had a very complicated return involving the sale of 2 homes in California and the purchase of 3 in Virginia. There were two 1031 Exchanges involved, which Bob was the person who made us aware of this possibility. Since he had done our returns for many years, he also advised us years ago to save all receipts for improvements on our primary residence. We had a large capital gain, but it was much less than it would have been had we not had that advice from Bob. It is well worth hiring someone who knows the ins and outs of tax code because they save you money in the long run.
Patrick and his team did a great job. Patrick was great at communicating with me and it didn’t feel like he was trying to oversell me. I got a bid from a different local company that wanted a lot more for the same service. Glad I went with Sunbolt!
Very pleased indeed with Steve's Septic. They did a fantastic job repairing our septic system. They are real experts, friendly and helpful, good explainers, the price was extremely reasonable, and I can't recommend them too highly.
My sunroom roof was damaged during the extended snow a couple of years ago. Water was pouring in. A local roofing company did two expensive repairs to it, neither of which fixed the problem. Due to the ineffective repairs and subsequent worsening damage, I ultimately wound up with a rotten roof that was about to cave in. I knew I had to get it fixed before this next winter. I discovered that Northcoast Awning installs sunrooms, and so I called, hoping they do repairs too.
Nick came right out and gave a fair estimate. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and promised to get me scheduled in before the rainy season.
My entire sunroom was having issues, and when Nick and crew came, the scope of the original job expanded to include a door repair and more. They even came back to put new weather stripping around the sunroom doors.
Throughout, the whole team have been kind and professional, tidy, and thorough.The new roof has made the inside of the sunroom look better too. They also did most of the prep work moving things out of the way and carefully putting it all back, which I appreciated.

This is the perfect friendly little salon that I see people talking about going to their whole life, for multiple generations even, and I can see why. Everyone there is sooo friendly and the whole vibe is so welcoming.I used to see Allie years ago and fell in love with her work, the salon, the Eufora products, and everything about the place! Due to pandemic, life, etc. I stopped going for a couple years and when I finally returned, due to scheduling, I ended up seeing one of their newer stylists, Carmella, and she is amazing too! She spent an entire hour of her valuable time with me just going over exactly what I wanted to do to my hair (which had seen better days). She did everything she could to make sure all the details were just how I wanted and really took the time to listen to me and create a plan to make my hair look the best possible - I just really appreciate all of the time and energy she put into making sure I walked out as happy and confident as can be. My hair looks flawless every time I walk out of here. I’ll never go anywhere else, 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

Had my hair cut by Melissa and she was awesome my hair was long and one length and she cut it exactly how I wanted it which was a little longer than shoulder and layered with the layers not to short. I have natural curls and it was perfect. Best hair salon experience I’ve had in 30 years
Lucia does a great job at creating a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience. She’s always professional and courteous to the needs of the client, making sure they’re feeling comfortable and relaxed. Plus, her prices are considerably more reasonable compared to other spas in the area. A nice gem in McKinleyville. :-)
I highly recommend Erin at Cabinets by Andy, who coordinated the work and Kevin the installer.
We’re doing a light kitchen update with modified cabinet layout and new countertops. Erin oversaw design and fabrication of cabinetry that fit exactly and looks great.
Kevin the installer is a magician who quickly and precisely installed and detail finished the new cabinetry to blend into existing cabinets. For bonus points he trued up alignment of existing drawers and reoriented some cabinet door hinges (open other direction) making it user friendly! He also transformed an existing cabinet to accept a soft close, slide out trash bin mechanism.
We are more than satisfied with the design, fabrication and fit of the final product:)

Top notch electricians available for advice and service. They installed a GFCI outlet in my kitchen and charged me a reasonable price. They sent a clear itemized invoice in the mail as promised even though I paid the balance owed before they left my house. The lead helped me determine if I had enough protection in my kitchen and on top of that they were so friendly. I would recommend calling them for your electrical needs as I plan to call them first every time I need electrical service.

I had a great experience with Lisa who colored my hair. My hair was bright red and I wanted to go back to my natural color. Lisa did a wonderful job and my hair looks great! The atmosphere is so pleasant and welcoming. The staff is friendly and they offer a variety of complimentary drinks. I highly recommend the Parlour. Know that they only accept cash/check/Venmo.
