Today was one of the hardest days we’ve ever had—we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy. 💔

We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Stegmeier with us through it. In such an unbelievably shitty situation, he somehow made everything feel a little less terrible.

He was compassionate, transparent, patient, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain our options, gave us his honest thoughts and guidance, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. This hospital was amazing! I brought my cat, Peaches, in via emergency as she hasn't pooped in 5 days, due to a prior surgery. Dr. Schroeder, Chris, and Alex were all very kind and understanding. They took such great care of my girl (and me). They patiently explained everything to me, gave me options and let me make the choices with no pressure. They were a great team and I can't recommend more. Thank you so much!!

On my most recent visit, I placed my card on the counter and it slid slightly — something that happens. Rather than letting it go, she accused me of throwing my card at her, which is completely false. I was taken aback that she would fabricate… read full review
