I visited Arcata from out of town and attended two different classes at Om Shala. Both were excellent! I signed up and paid for both online. The studio was spacious and peaceful. I hope to come back soon.

Om Shala is a really lovely place with great healing offerings! I have been coming almost weekly for soundbath and meditation sessions. Every teacher has been wonderful, the space is beautiful and peaceful, temperature is comfortable, street parking is easy, and many props (pillows, blankets) are available to borrow. They have tons of classes and events listed on their website, and it's easy to purchase tickets online beforehand. When you arrive, all you need to do is state your name. Class sizes always seem comfortable: big enough to create a nice feeling of community but small enough that you have plenty of room to lay down or move around comfortably.
